The music in Troopers videos gets more and more obnoxious everyday.

I agree on all points. He has a valuable, possibly viral, brand with the potential for mainstream appeal in Go Gamble and nothing worth wasting time on in the rest of his merchandise. Regardless of whether he brings in a bigger partner or not, he needs to get distribution that doesn't involve him personally delivering the hats.

We're about to witness a battle between easy money, and a man with the business sense of a rutabaga. Should be fun

Question: What's to stop someone else from selling the same hat ?

Also: I think very few sales happen outside of Vlog watchers.

Regardless of the law around this do you really think Troop would be bothered lawyering up and going after someone who did this?

He should at least claim "Go Gamble" accounts on all social media properties.

I believe Trooper would be protected by common law trademark rights. This would entitle him to exclusive use of logos and slogans which he was the first to market and publicize, regardless of any official registration of a trademark.
This is only enforceable in the geographic and market area where Trooper is actually operating, though I'm not sure how this would apply to an online store with national access but somewhat limited geographic appeal. If he registered his trademark with the US Government, he would be clearly entitled to this protection nationwide, though this can be a lengthy process.

Lengthy, and it could also result in him being denied. Also, common law rights might be iffy on something so descriptive/generic, and for all he/they know he wasn't even first. Plus, as OFA indicated, any attempt to thwart someone else would involve one of the world's least proactive people I've ever seen needing to get his ducks in a row and paying for an attorney.

I think everyone is getting ahead of themselves regarding "Go Gamble". Despite Trooper's attempt to portray it as a life motto, it likely doesn't have any legs beyond poker players and actual gamblers.

Think about how cheesy early poker players are. when I first played poker, I probably would have bought this hat (hard to admit).

Trooper needs someone else to model these things tho, but his ego is wayyyyy way to big to take a back seat to this.

That tshirt he wears with the double font 'lifes a gamble, go gamble' and he loves it so much, shows he fluked the 'go gamble', and now he needs to get someone to take it further

I didn't even catch the reference when I initially watched it. I was wondering if Mr. Dorson was aware that many of Trooper's business relationships in the past have gone to ****. Good luck Mr. Dorson.

Yeah but there is a solid market for it and its a solid brand. According to a recent study 1.6b people a year gamble. It won't make him rich but can make him money. He should get rid of everything else in TrooperWare, rebrand to Go Gamble and focus on that.

Its not my style personally but can see how people like it.

Disagree, the Go Gamble merchandise is very slick. It's very eye catching with a simplicity that sells. He needs to find a way to merge it with other things similarly to the way Live Lucky did.

The previous two posts are indicative of a petty and small-minded outlook on life. Sadly, it's one that pervades the poker world in a lot of ways, and also hurts the players that adhere to it.

If Trooper were to obtain a GoGamble domain ...

Trooper could probably register it as a charity.

Trooper takes the money ...
and donates it to the Las Vegas poker community

My research involved typing in "gogamble.com" and seeing something asking if I wanted to buy the domain name.

The domain name GoGamble.org is available.

Perfect for Trooper.

.Org is often associated with a non-profit.

Need I say more

I haven't watched the last several Trooper videos but just watched the latest and it picks right up where I left off with his normal session. But this time he was too depressed to close it out.

Did you see his results from the session? That's a lot of hats to sell to make up that loss.

BTW, we should start a "poker terminology by Trooper" thread. Add "aggro monkey" to the list.
