He dresses up in all that Go Gamble gear every single day. It would probably be less embarrassing dressing as a minion or whatever, at least you're anonymous that way.

Trooper's Level 1 poker thinking rears its ugly head again. Calls with 44 looking to setmine, even though he "knew" that the player to his right wanted to raise, but didn't raise since the player was waiting for the action player to his left to raise..so the action player raises, the player to his right re-raises, and Trooper snap folds. "It was worth a shot"..lol.

I don't think I have ever seen someone play nearly every day for 3 years and is worse than he was 3 years ago..

To be fair to Trooper, even if he isn't good at it, poker pays all his bills when you include all his auxiliary income that he derives from it.

If you include YouTube, Patreon, Trooperware, mailtime gifts, etc. he must have a very nice per hour winrate.

If he stopped playing poker, no way could he earn a higher income than he does now..

You believe his Vlog would fall apart without poker ?

Generously speaking, Trooper has made about ~$5/hr playing poker over the last 3 years, possibly less than that.

Not sure he could find a job that pays less than that.

Before someone made a thread about him on 2+2 I don't think he even had 5,000 subscribers. As much as Trooper would hate to admit it, he would be dealing or waiting tables if his vlog hadn't blown up, relatively speaking, thanks to the 2+2 attention and all the opportunities that resulted from that attention.

He had about 2k during WSOP 2015 and that was after the original thread was open for a while.

So he practically only has iraiseproffs/2+2 and Andrew Neeme to thank for any vlog success. But hey you know, who hasn't consistently trashed and belittled those who led to their "success" and didn't go on to be wildly more successful?

He had less than 300 subscribers. Nobody had a clue who he was and only one person thought he recognized him. Also, Trooper had only been in Vegas a few months back then.

Edit: He has an old video that started shortly after the thread started (video is called 2+2) and said he had 269 subscribers the day before and it was up to 282. So he might have not even been at 250 when the thread started. He also was down 800 at PH and ended up losing 352 (sounds like one of his recent sessions).

But he also mentioned 3 other winning sessions including a $400 win. His older videos are much shorter but also much better IMO because he left out more of the really dull stuff like him hanging out at his place by himself.

Uber Driver once you properly subtract increased maintenance costs and vehicle depreciation from your earnings. Many people think they are making $10 - 15 an hour when they are really making $0 to 5.

LMAO plak, that just isn't true and is an over-generalization to the nth degree.

The only way your math comes close to being true is if our driver buys a new car to drive for Uber with.

If someone already owns a car that is paid off the profits with Uber are pretty good especially if said driver works in a large metropolitan area. I was going to get deeper into the math but it isn't worth it. Yes the Gov. allows you to deduct 50 cents or so a mile for vehicle costs (maintenance, wear&tear) but that is not realistic for the average driver.

I am not going to derail the thread about this as I have already talked about this extensively in the Uber/Lyft Vegas Stories thread, but the only way to be profitable as a driver is to drive a 10 years old ****ty Prius. And then you are only making little over min wage over a 40 hour week.

This is why that even in the bigger cities where Uber has been around for 3 or 4 years, it is rare to find a driver that has been doing it over a year. It takes about that much time to realize that all your profits are being eaten up in increased maintenance costs and the rapid devaluation of your car by putting 50 - 75K miles on it a year. Those drivers realize that the money they were making was an illusion and move on.

Boski did a live vlog with Manz today that I happened to catch. It was pretty entertaining. They talked about what Boski had coming up and from the way Boski was talking, I wouldnt say his vlogging career is done completely, but I definitely think his poker vlog is done, which is unfortunate. I kinda got the impression that he felt he didnt get enough respect for the way he did his vlog ie showing the bad and the good, done with an Iphone and no hired crew, etc.

Boski said he's been taking a break from poker and working on some other things, but that he might play in an upcoming tourny series at The Wynn. Guess we'll see if he is truly done with his poker vlog if he plays in that tourny and there is no vlog.

Rayz bet his investable net worth on Enphase energy at an average bottom of like .70 a share and just cashed out at 1.50+. Dude paid off his house with some of the profits

Again keep spewing lies and garbage, makes up about 50 percent of this thread anyway.

*BTW, I am not an Uber/Lyft/Rideshare supporter. I simply know the math as I used to transport organs/critical items in my own vehicle.

ohh, so that makes you an expert on it then because you used to drive kidneys around? Well guess what, I was an Uber/Lyft driver a couple years ago after I got out of the military while I was going to school so I know exactly how it works and how much one really makes ride sharing. The money you make is an illusion and after 6 months you realize that when you subtract gas, new set of tires 2 years sooner then you should, oil change every two months vs. 6 months before, that you really did not make that much money. Ohh yeah, and somehow you just put 40,000 miles on your car.

Again, not going to derail this thread. This is my last post on subject

Was in Vegas the past two weeks, mostly playing 1/3 at the Wynn. Saw Troop and took a pic with him. He was nice and friendly.

BTW this is what crushing 1/3 looks like. In for 500.
