Here's my latest.

I’m apparently a masochist; watch me play awful.

DON'T GET TOO EXCITED

But we're about to see how long a bunch of animals can have polite conversations about three sporadically uploaded vlogs while collectively ignoring the one topic of discussion they really want to go on about.

I was worried that Andrew wouldn't consistently put out videos but thankfully he seems to genuinely enjoy making them, which is awesome.

woo PLO. If I played more often I'd totally do a PLO vlog, so nice to see some play, even if only a couple hands.

re: Tappan's video. I don't understand what's polarizing about the size of a river check-raise that goes from $18 to $60.

And isn't any river check-raise "polarizing" there?

Also, some random turning KT into a bluff there in a Vegas 1-3 game should be enough to get more people to contemplate career changes.

What strikes me most about Andrew is his humility. It's clear he's an accomplished NL player yet he goes out of his way to say he's not an expert at the game.

You are right to say there is nothing polarizing about the bet size. In this game there isn't even anything polarizing about the river c/r. He has the nuts or close to it always and its an easy snap fold.

I am really surprised he had KT there and would like to know if it was a professional or a random.

As far as his river bet, I actually think it is close and don't always mind a small bet. It depends mostly on his opponent whether or not to get value. It is just important he doesn't say it was a bad river bet because of the result. I also never limp AA so I am not familiar with this spot.

I think at 1/2-1/3 they are almost never bluffing in that spot. They usually have it so I'm laying this down 100% but I'm a nit LOL.

From video one, you can tell how serious and how much effort he putting in these things. Superb.

Andrew cuts another solid video. The dual camera/split screen on the drive across town was cool stuff. Dude is about to pass 2,500 subscribers a month in. He's going to pick up steam when the circuit events come to Vegas and when the WSOP comes around next summer he's going to blow the F up.

Tappen's last video was better than the last few, the b reel over the voiceover about the hand was nice. I don't remember if he reported a result but it looked like a W so nice work

I didn't see any major mistakes in Tappan's hands. I did find it curious that he hates A6 and thinks it's the worst ace yet raises to $15 to isolate with it. Then he raises to just $10 with QQ (I understand the conditions are likely different, potentially a limper vs no limper but still curious).

DC that avatar is hilarious. I think the reason he may have bet bigger with A6 is that you're fine getting folds, and you want people to pay more to call. With QQ, you don't mind a wider range calling as much, imo.

Limper vs first-into-pot. I keep the sizing balanced usually, only adjusting for number of players. And A6s was I think the bottom of my isolating range, at least vs utg. I was criticising past me, which will by nature mean I disapprove of my own behavior.

I appreciate that. I've kept an eye on this particular guy since then.
