Andrew's video: "This is Trooper. I'll put a link down below to his vlog"

Difference in class speaks volumes.
It really is understandable though.

Would you give away some of your income and link to what could be considered a better vlog. Cant blame trooper for not linking.

I am really surprised Andrew called with AA in that spot. I feel like he is good very rarely there only against the biggest spewtards.

so we can talk about Troop? b/c this storytime vlog... oof.

nah, but Andrew's most recent was good as always. Dude has made what, $6-7 grand since starting the vlog? Feel like he's lost a single big pot at Wynn to start and then it has been smooth sailing.

Is all this filming at the table secret? Is floor OK with it? The other players?

Don't get me wrong, I've always wondered what the heck low stakes players were thinking as they played hands (both well and butchered) so I'm amused as the next guy to have it narrated out but I can't imagine this vlog trend goes on.

When he lost his first buy in bet shoving KQ was hilariously funny. His reaction slayed me

Also he cant tell a story while short stacking a single table low stakes cash game..... makes me think about his thought processes at a poker table. He seems very simple minded

Not sure how the rest of that vid went because him trying to storytell while playing was really annoying. He can't even singletable while telling a simple story smh.

once again i think there is some confusion in this department. andrew posts 1 to 2 vids a week in which he plays a single session. certainly hes logging a good deal more hours than this so if hes crushing those sessions as well he may be up a good deal more. if hes not he may be at a much lower overall than the sample size were getting. i very much doubt he could not be still crushing it though based on how big some of his wins in the featured sessions have been.

thx, ya im hoping aside from the expected trolling people can throw some solid suggestions on content/editing and i can take it from there since this is my first attempt at anything like this. i also have a lot more flexibility than some on music and content in regards to copyright issues ect since i have no plans to monetize the majority of my vids. doing this for fun and the entertainment of myself and others so no pipe dream of being cassey ni-whatever.

I think Gobbo made the right decision to close the original thread. It was getting terrible. The closing has also resulted in some good discussion in this thread. I think we can handle Trooper stuff in the new thread but the old thread is going to stay closed.

So here is what is going to happen.

Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.

I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.

I am going to undelete all the Trooper related posts that I have deleted to date in this thread and remove any infractions issued that resulted from those posts.

Have fun!
RELEASE THE HOUNDS!!!!! Worst decision ever. This will ultimately prove to be as bad of a decision as it was to fill the Hindenburg with hydrogen

Talk about the vlogs or gtfo. Done with you and your trolling
Do what everyone else does and throw him on ignore. His only comments here are to people being critical of Trooper. A white knight SJW if I ever saw one.

TL;DR on the Trooper since discussion was last allowed on this forum? I haven't seen any vlogs or heard anything about him since then.

Andrew and/or Tappan I would be interested on your thoughts on my thought process as well as your own bankroll thoughts/strategies. Thanks
Sounds solid to me. Zero Risk of Ruin since you have a job for now. Top off your stack as you lose pots, so rarely a full-bullet (all at once) rebuy. It sounds like you know the numbers but need to give yourself permission to jump in there. Maybe you're nervous — understandably. And maybe you're still saving. Breathe, make small moves, and take one day at a time.

I'm a bankroll nit. I know that losing a large amount would compromise me psychologically for a time. If you're like me, start slow. And bankroll management could be even more important than your technical skill — you'll rarely make huge gains but you'll never tilt off your whole roll. GLGLGL

Right. I don't need trolls effing with my head when I'm running cold. I beat myself up enough already.

Thanks! Yeah sorting out one's personal life is a prerequisite to playing decent poker. I'm a garbage player when I don't meditate or center myself somehow.

Sure, it has a certain appeal. But I won't assume that skipping the report precludes success. I'm avoiding a situation in which I mindfkkc myself.

I didn't know anything else at the time. But now it'd be hard to revert to the outhouse.

Nah my high school was 1200 in a town of ~20k.
