Someone seems to be hiding in their bunker (Casa Del T) waiting for "Cali" to leave town! Hope nothing happened/happens.

I don't think, regardless of intent, the camera grabbing can get blown out of proportion. That's a line that shouldn't be crossed and he didn't "give" it back, the floor got it off him and gave it back to Trooper.

Jaman - I saw from a little while ago that you read the thread. Although of course you don't show all hands from a session in your vlogs, I did notice your open raise seems to be nearly always $15, but when you had AA and KK you opened to $20. There may be other factors at play, such as your position and who's in the blinds, etc., but beware of a sizing tell. And keep up the enjoyable vlogs.

Generally in these games the standard open is $15, as the night goes on the standard open seems to gravitate towards $20. LOL. Don't ask me why. I generally just take the standard open and add 1 BB per limper...generally. Thanks for the heads-up though, i'll keep an eye on it

That made me LOL! I love Stu!! Honestly though, it's really that alot of the players here are umm, how do we say..."making moves that are long-term -EV decisions". It's alot more of that than me going Fedor Holz all over the table. In these games if you add the letter "D" to everyone elses "ABC" play...you'll make a killing.

Are these Hollywood 2/5 players worse than the 1/3 ones at Bally's you raped and pillaged? I can't imagine they are, but I've never played in the midwest, so I'm just guessing.

I've played a lot at Bally's and they are about as bad as I've seen anywhere in LV and SoCal, along with those at the Excalibur..

No, the 2/5 players at hollywood are better than the 1/3 players at Bally's. However, I know the players at hollywood so for the most part I have a feeling of what they are and aren't capable of. Whereas at Bally's it's just a bunch of unknowns for the most part.

The players at Hollywood are alot tighter than they players at Bally's, that's for sure, but the players at Ballys are just looking to get it in. They came with no "fold button". Hollywood players for the most part have no "raise" button, just a bunch of calling.

I'm looking to go back to Vegas in the next few weeks btw

Very nice!

I really liked your last trip when you beat the 1/3 Aria "Try Hards" like red-headed step-children.

Some of those 1/3 Aria headphone and sunglass-wearing, never crack a smile, 21-25 year-old regs seem like some of the most miserable poker players on earth.

My last few trips I've avoided them to play at the Venetian and Wynn instead..

Jaman, your vlog has turned into my favorite. A combo of fun, good camera work and of course poker. I'm glad to see you having success at the tables, and look forward to many more vlogs to come!

On the positive side, if Cali dude does end up assaulting Trooper, Trooper may be entitled to an undisclosed amount of cash and thus rebuild his dwindling bankroll.

California guy was going out of his way to be difficult and nasty and Trooper initially tried to address his concerns in a reasonable and supportive way. The fact the guy continued to be difficult is what lead Trooper to initiate some of further escalation so I can't really blame Trooper for that.

As for Trooper's decision to post a video of the confrontation and specifically without obscuring his face, the guy expressly conveyed he was not providing consent. The fact there are signs elsewhere in the room about consent and that there are even cameras on the table doesn't negate his expressed non-consent. This is why reality shows get signed releases before including someone's likeness in published content. Trooper is open to legal liability because of this.
