After a cursory review of several pages, I see that nothing much has changed. Ninety percent of the posts are from the same 5-10 losers who have nothing to do but b1tch about anything and everything that Trooper does. Most of you must be close to or have exceeded 1,000 posts in this thread by now. JFC, get a life people.

I quoted one of the losers because his comment is so beautiful in its projection. Whenever any poster comes into this thread and says anything at all positive about Trooper, the losers jump all over him and claim that they "know" Trooper better than he or she does because they've been following his every move for three years now. (LOL). They also add that anyone who says anything positive about Trooper must either be a white knight or a huge Trooper superfan. There is no room for debate and their opinions are set in stone. As the obsessed poster above writes, it's hard to reason with rocks.

I'll check in again when you all have hit 25k or 30k posts. I'm sure it will still be the same 10 or so people writing the same **** they've been writing for the past three years about Trooper.

In the meantime, here's a list of my favorite vloggers (not that anyone gives a ****):

1. Neeme

2. PokerKraut

3. JohnnieVibes

4. ThePokerMonk (although I'm not sure if he's still vlogging)

5. TheTrooper

6. Boski (only down this low because I don't play tournaments)

I also enjoyed Monk’s videos.

He hasn’t uploaded in a month or so. I guess it gets old when you are losing and it isn’t a lot of fun to get on camera and own up to losing.

This is a new Vegas poker vlogger. He was mentioned in Poker Daddy's vlog as an opponent in a hand.

Save yourself 12 minutes and don't watch the latest Trooper video.... Potentially worst one yet

A comedic glam band that's neither funny nor a good band. The lounge act earlier in the vlog was much more entertaining than this headline act.

ehh, it wasn't that bad. The tragedy is that he didn't throw it in that one chick or some other broad from that concert.

I keep checking PokerPriest's channel to see if he ever made it to Vegas. For those unfamiliar, he decided to quit his well-paying job in the North East and make a run at being a full-time pro in Vegas. The most recent comment in his last video from 4 weeks ago sums it up how some feel about his decision:

"You are a f***ing idiot to quit an 80k/year job for 1/2 and 2/5 poker. the f*** you thinking."

I don't agree - if you hate your job and find something you love then you should go for it. Even if you don't make as much money (or even if you fail miserably) you still can take pride in taking a chance for your own happiness.

If he was more of an advance player than he is, then yes quit your job but I think he's prob regretting it as we speak. He still has a lot of room for improvement in his game.

I actually checked this myself earlier today. He just takes a long time to release videos. If you check his Instagram you will see that he is in Vegas playing.

LOL I love how you guys completely ignored Angry Grandpa's (DC2LV) last post -- like he doesn't exist.

Brad Owen averages 15 hours a week playing poker and made around $37K this year -- not bad.

It's sick how long shooting and editing these videos takes. Owen says he spent 700 hours playing poker and 1200 doing the vlogs over the last year.

Vlogging seriously cuts into the grind time for these pros. Hopefully the fame makes up for the loss in earnings.

He stated $10/hr from vlog. Some rough math came out $.005/view. How does this number compare other estimates of youtube revenue?

He wrote a really long negative post about how negative the thread is lol. He didn’t even have a single positive thing to say about Trooper even though he was defending Trooper.

the key is once you get big like Doug & Negreanu you can hire your own editors/producers like they do.

now u see why i wont ever do a vlog, just a blog instead. (and im sitting in my room in deadwood SD with nothing to do since i lost my only $100 online ignition) and theres no live games on sunday nights here and yet i still cant find it in me to update the blog as opposed to relaxing in bed reading a book instead.

no one is willing to work for FREE u see.
