Do you seriously not understand the concept of implied odds?

By your logic if villain bets half pot you should always fold your flush draws?

If you are using that implied odds stuff you would realize Trooper needs to get in more than a pot size bet on the river just to break even. It's ok though because $205 is going in on the river.

I knew someone was going to bring up implied odds(with zero understanding of what it means) go ahead knock yourself out and chase every flush and o/e draw till your content hoping villain will call a river shove off a $50 pot.

To make the call proper the pot needs to be around $150 on the turn already.Every time I think poker is dead a unicorn emerges carry on 1800 carry on.FYP

He briefly touches on that fact that people need to understand that IO does not necessarily mean stack size/bet size

Preflop: Good.

Flop: I would tend to play this faster but given this villain's tendencies it may be better to just flat here

Turn: Since this is nit on nit violence he's probably correct that he can't get called by worse here. As a LAG, I expect to be able to get value from smaller pocket pairs here but I could also get fat value from those on blank rivers. This spot is a little difficult to evaluate without knowing stack sizes.

River: Given the villain this seems like a trivial fold to me. (note: this is a good spot to utilize live reads though...i just doubt this villain is bluffing very often here)

Vegas was pretty hopping this week due to the rodeo and the 5 Diamond Classic at Bellagio. Unfortunately I didn't run into any vloggers while I was out there but still met lots of great people at the tables.
