He showed very minimal hours played since he started the vlog and still calls himself a grinder. I can't remember the exact hours he was putting in but it was under 20 a week.....how is that a grinder? Obviously he wants some balance and if the YT revenue can subsidize that then its all good but I was kind feeling mislead.

Any others feel this way?

So instead of playing 35 hours a week he's playing about 18 and spends the other half of his week producing the content that you enjoyed. Yet you feel misled? Because he does three 6-8 hr/session per week and takes the time he'd spend on the other 2 days playing making the vlog?

Are you serious? Is he supposed to work 15 hours a day everyday like Tim claims he does so he can produce 2 vlogs a week and still put in 35 hours at the table so that you feel satisfied with him being a "grinder?"

BTW his hourly and total +/- are nice for the hours he put in so you sound ridiculous.

Hi Hourly is crazy and good for him and I like the guy but I am not alone in assuming he spent a town more time playing poker than he has. If he were putting out more than 1-2 vlogs a week I guess I would say its better than more hours but I dont know its his life just was assuming he was making a living playing poker and you could argue 35k is a living but its not much of one.

Polarised? He had less than 1% dislikes on YT.

He may feel he is in a sweet spot with his hourly.

A typical $5/5 game at Stones is more exciting than the vlogger's game.

Boski only seemed to perk up when offered free food.

You assumed. How did he mislead you?

Maybe you just picked the wrong word and it didn't articulate how you actually feel Las Vegas Poker Player Vlogs

Obviously he used the question as an opportunity to put up an ad. But he can do both-lie and use it as an opportunity to plug that company. People would believe he is a god if he told them that. I don't really see the point of putting the question in the video though. Why not just put up the ad by itself? Was this just his way of asking people to shut up and stop asking how he studies?

I get what you're saying, not that it really changes much for me in terms of my opinion of the guy. It seems like in most of his vlogs he's playing pretty substantial sessions, like 8-10 hours and sometimes longer. At least that's kind of how I interpreted it. Maybe I'm just used to Trooper seemingly playing 2 to 4 hour sessions and calling it a night because he's exhausted....

Edit: and to Neeme's credit, he is networking and getting himself out there with his new found "fame". He definitely seems like he's setting himself up for bigger and better things down the road, so props to him for making the most of any opportunities that may come his way now.

According to this thread it is 13.5 hrs/week of poker play plus approximately 8 hrs/week preparing the vlog. I've mentioned this to several midstakes grinders and a big name tournament pro and they've all had a good laugh about this (FWIW, the tournament pro didn't know who he was though). To be perfectly honest with you, I don't even play poker anymore and I still play more than 13.5hrs/week .

Like, subscribe, and click the thumbs up button. If it sucks don't blame me because I only watched the first 2 minutes.

Patreon donations for Trooper are down to $195 a month. That's the lowest I've ever seen that number. He used to be at around $300 a month when he had around a third of the number of subscribers that he has now.

Unless he puts in more money then he has gotten from sales this is a success. Can't take that away.
Cost him nothing but time and a few favors from his design friend. Test orders for himself that's about it

According to Trooper those the start up, including Test orders used a large portion of his bankroll.

I'm just imagining the beats he must have been putting on guys. Should make for a good vlog with some funny hand histories.
