I mentioned that he was probably colluding with Harry in the SNG's before this video and lo and behold, Trooper shows video footage of their long running colluding scam from years ago. Then he shows him and Harry hunting to get on the same table and refusing to play SNG's separately. Cheaters!

Whoever was defending Trooper's integrity before better wake the heck up. I'm sure Roast King will have a field day with this and I now hope that people stop buying his crap clothes, stop ending donations, and cancel their Patreon donations. Don't even send him a darn Starbucks card!

This guy just admitted to colluding which is 100% cheating at poker! He doesn't play a SNG for years and when his friend is in town, they hop on the same table and split profits equally. Hmmm?

How do I report these two to the WSOP at Rio to get both of them blackballed from WSOP events? Tim Watts is one and what is Harry's last name? I know the former head of Bally's poker room that runs the cash games there now and I'm sure he'll pass the info along to whoever runs the SNG side of action. Please contact anyone you know at WSOP about this as well as more complaints escalate this issue quicker.

That is the LAST STRAW for Trooper! If anyone supports him at this point, you are enabling a cheater, a scammer, and an idiot who makes a public video admitting to it voluntarily. Pretty easy to cash when you and your partner get down to 3 or 4 players in a S&G and dump chips to the larger stack. You don't even have to show the hands.

Let me guess, you see nothing wrong with them playing together in a 9/10 person tournament. So it's okay for the other people to be going up against a team of 2 guys? When it gets down to 5 or 4 handed and 2 players are colluding because they are splitting profits so they move chips between each other, that it okay?

They can easily dump chips to one player and if they do it right, they won't have to show cards so they will try to hide their collusion.

I don't play the SNG's at WSOP but others do and they are being scammed and cheated by this colluding duo. They clearly did this multiple times before to fleece players for over $40K+ as they proudly boasted in their videos. Isn't that reason enough to stop them from doing this again?

If you think it's perfectly fine, I guess you don't really have much integrity and don't care about playing in fair poker games. I guess when people cheat at online poker, that okay too? Do you seriously want to blow any integrity you might have to defend Trooper? Is he your best friend or something? Or maybe he owes you money and this is the only way he might win it to pay you back?

You're making a leap here, unless I'm missing a key piece of evidence. Although it looks very shady, and I'm not betting against your claims. Simply playing in the same SNGs and/or splitting profits is not collusion in and of itself.

On a somewhat related note, werent there similar claims about Melanie Weisner and someone else in regards to colluding in STSNGs at the WSOP?

What ended up happening with Melanie Weisner? Was it a misunderstanding? Was she splitting 50/50 with someone else at the table repeatedly and intentionally playing at the same tables over and over again? And refusing to play at separate tables?

You don't mind two friends jumping from one STSNG to another for the whole summer while they split profits 50/50, pool their money together, and imply pretty clearly in their YouTube video that they are bragging about how they play so well together. Then they refuse to play unless they are on the same table in the video?

The only thing worse than colluding is blatantly bragging about it on YouTube so everyone knows what going on.

Shouldn't WSOP investigate this? I would be very concerned if I was playing those SNG's.

I think they are colluding, but w/e I'm done wasting time and energy on Trooper. Not gonna post about him anymore.

The one part that rubs me wrong is the putting in the video that they were actively avoiding playing in SNGs so they could play together. This could be explained as just friends who haven't seen each other in a long time and want to spend some time together playing except that he put in the video cutaways to 5 years ago where they were doing the same thing and pooling money and splitting profits 50/50. So it's 2 vs 8 instead of everyone vs everyone and they can signal each other to dump chips to the other to effectively give one of them a 2/1 chip lead on everyone else and therefore a significant ICM advantage in a winner take all or top 2 take all format.

There is a thread on 2+2 somewhere(I'm not great with searching but assuming if you google her and collusion the thread will show) This is from a few years ago I believe. Long story short, her and an "accomplice" were accused of colluding in these Wsop SNGs. I don't think anything could be proven, and I don't think anything came of it. I could be wrong though. I recall it being an interesting read though.

I just saw the Trooper video in question, and it is -not- a good look. Regardless of whether or not he is actually colluding, Trooper has been playing poker long enough to know that this looks very suspicious, and needs to clearly address exactly what his arrangement is, and his attitude toward playing at the same table as someone he is sharing a bankroll with.

On the other hand, Trooper appeared to be even fatter in 2012, so all the comments about his deteriorating health seem unfounded.
