the first part has to be pre-recorded though, right?

because he's getting a haircut, but on livestream other night was like new guy did a nice job and had that weird side cut. also he's picking up mail. idk why that's spliced in there, but 100% it's old footage.

edit: guess i didn't see the prequel comment.

The into has him saying it's good to be the Trooper today but his face right afterwards says otherwise. The same is true when he's in the car monologuing about happiness and the meaning of life. You can read the worry, sadness, and despair on his face. He realizes it himself when he reminds himself to stop talking about it on a Friday night heading to the strip. He seemed close to turning around and just driving into the desert or just slamming his car into a wall. This guy is definitely close to the bottom of depression. Trying to unsuccessfully rationalize his meaningless life is clearly a sign of problems.

At least he is getting more humble . He said that he doesn't know the meaning of life (you think?) but he's 90% sure it's learning or something like that. Taking life advice from a 45 year old living a miserable life waiting for something good to appear in his lap is not the way to go.

Even in the end, his rant about how bad the games at Rio are after he tried 2 tables there over 2 months? Seriously? Nice sample size bro. There is a ton of money being thrown around at Rio at 1/3 and 2/5 right now. Just because you happen to sit at 2 "bad" tables doesn't mean there aren't good games. The following contains results:
Spoiler:
The game was terrible and horrible according to Trooper but he only lost $50. He said the games at other places on the strip are 10 times better but he tends to lose $500 in those games. So his ratios are correct but what the heck does he consider good games? It seems he always describes the games from his opponents point of view. The game is good and Trooper loses $500. The game is bad and he only donates $50. Pattern?

Also, Trooper 100% went to Rio tonight to shut up the people telling him to play there. He didn't say how long he played but described the games as terrible. Anyone think that he had an agenda going in tonight to put in a few orbits at Rio, complain about the games no matter what, and then have an excuse to not go back there?

He's got the WORST mentality going into a poker room of anyone I've ever seen.

It's a minor thing but what happened with that haircut? I take back my comments about not wearing a hat because he NEEDS to wear a hat after that haircut. Trooper has lived in Vegas for 3+ years now and he doesn't have a barber? I assume it is because he is lazy and just walks into the first place he seems but when you do that, you get the haircut that he got. Ouch!

Who does't check Yelp, ask a friend for a recommendation, or simple find a barber in the first few months of moving somewhere. Does he literally go to a new place everytime?

did he forget to tell you what date/day he was shooting the video so you could compare it to the live stream date? You might want to reprimand him for that.

Also, Trooper doesn't get that his fans want him to go to Rio not to play 1/3nl. They want him to show shots inside of the WSOP area, talk with poker celebrities on camera, and show the scene of the WSOP (stuff like that). Maybe do a walk through of the WSOP areas explaining where everything happens like Negreanu and Neeme did. Oh wait, Trooper doesn't know ANY of this stuff because he has been to the Rio 5 times over the past 3 WSOP's. How fat is his head that he thinks that all people want to see is his fat, unshaved double chin on camera and not Las Vegas and the poker scene?

Didn't he say he was going to play some simple table sit n go's? Why not play 1 of those (or a few like he said himself) before Harry arrives? Or do he and Harry enter on the same table and collude? That must be how they crushes those a few years ago. They must only play together and collude to win those and then split the profits. He's explained that they split profits before so this definitely points in this direction. Oh wait, Trooper is an honest guy who's never scammed anyone so this can't be the case.

I'm curious is Harry will show his face in the vlog and be associated with Trooper at this point.

My guess is Trooper was probably just on a heater. For all his whining he runs really well. He won a bbj for $40k, and went on a couple of big heaters in Vegas, and that includes some 2-5 sessions.

He probably got his 1st Payment from the shirts and hats and had to pick up some more money to dust off this weekend.

There will be lots of "Good Games" this weekend for Trooper.

Roast King put up the video again about why Trooper has so many haters, and this time he doesn't show Trooper with the donut going into his mouth.

Check out today's video's comments. Some guy is trying to track trooper down to stake him in the main event. Wants to split profits 50/50.

I wonder how long he played at the RIO. It wouldn't surprise me if he just played 1 or 2 orbits and called it a bad game. Sort of a self fulfilling prophecy if you expect the games to be terrible you will look for reasons to leave. He didn't even try to transfer tables and I bet a lot of the players he thought were good were actually terrible.

According to Roast King, a struggling, 43 year old grinder making youtube videos and getting $248 a month off Patreon is tantamount to a crime against humanity. He should end all his future rants with "Trooper delenda est."

gotta say, i find the roast king stuff interesting, but also ridiculous. and while i think the patreon is pretty lame (considering he never once gave exclusive content) the dummies giving him the money are the ones to blame. Just pull your donation. I've said on many occasions Trooper should milk every friggin cent he can out of this if people are willing to offer stuff. a lot of em obviously have zero problem with his flakey tendencies, so keep collecting. i don't really see it as scamming.

Neeme killing it again. Arranging games for vlog viewers then a get together in the Skyfall lounge afterwards.

Neeme's take on the importance of catering to rec players as well as wanna be pros is spot on. Without the guys willing to lose a couple hundred a week the game wouldn't be profitable for anyone. And importantly he doesn't look down on the recs or lick his chops like a hungry hyena. The recs that are regular losers are still getting something if they're out there competing and enjoying themselves.

Dare I say, Neeme's vlogs are getting even better.

This last one was really cool, and maybe helped by the fact that Neeme is in a tiny downswing which adds some drama to things...

For a little while I stopped watching Neeme's vlogs because they felt a little dull but am getting back into them again. He keeps improving and is getting more comfortable "on camera" so to speak.

Trooper's vlogs are not nearly as well done but the train wreck aspect is not to be missed. Also, the "stakes" feel higher for old Troop because he clearly is struggling and so with each episode you wonder if this is the day where he throws in the towel and moves back to Florida or something...
