Neeme gets asked by Aria, Bellagio, and Wynn not to film. He respects their wishes and says so in camera. He then explains how he wants to keep the dialogue open and wants to show them the value that poker vloggers can bring to their business.

Trooper gets told not to film at MGM, Planet Hollywood, and Venetian (and other places too) and then bashes them on camera. He flips out that they don't appreciate how awesome he is and calls out bad dealers and all sorts of negative stuff about them. He even accuses the dealers of ratting him out.

Neeme runs into bad dealers at Rio but he explains that it's a tough game to deal and that they are trying their best so tells his fans to be respectful and kind even when a dealer isn't top notch.

Trooper runs into the same situation and trashes the dealers and the Rio using profanity. The Rio runs the WSOP which is the main poker tournament in the world. It also happens to be his former employer (CET) who he continuously trashed because he didn't like working there even though they paid his rent and gambling habit for a while.

Neeme builds relationships with the Mirage by hosting multiple tables of poker, talking up the room, complimenting dealers, and even featuring the bar there as a great place to play poker and hang out. He shows his value to a poker room so that other places can see the benefits of working with him as a poker ambassador in the future.

Trooper bashes the Stone casino in Sacramento, that he has never even been to yet, and tries to kill their event (the vlogger's game) because they won't dance around him for the game. He is upset that they won't make the game smaller for him and that they don't offer more than free airfare and accommodation, which seems like an awesome gesture already. He doesn't just decline to go, but attacks them for trying to be greedy and take his subscribers and even actively promotes other players who have aggreed to attend to back out. He is showing that he is extremely difficult to work with and that he is a major liability because if any little thing isn't to his liking, he will loudly bash and insult a business on his vlog. Heck, he is probably the most loyal Starbucks drinker out there and he still insults he company on his vlog.

Maybe all this is why Neeme has DOUBLE Trooper's subscribers and more views than Trooper in the past 30 days on way less videos and he got all this in under a year while Trooper has been at it for 3+ years in Vegas and even longer before.

Who will you be putting your money on, Neeme or Trooper?

Good post with many good points. I really really have respect for how Neeme defended the inexperienced dealers at the RIO dealing PLO, he realizes that they may are on a training period or/and that Omaha is a difficult game to deal. Same with what he is doing at the Mirage, so good for poker and so good for the poker scene in Vegas when Neeme shows the positive outcomes of working with him and how he uptalks the staff, dealers and the property.

All in all Neeme and Trooper is on two different planets. Its like comparing a rusty 30 year old car that desperately needs fixing repairs and maintaince even though the engine starts everyday, with a brand new Ferrari.

It's almost like YouTube viewers in general prefer people who are polite, positive, and respectful (and respectable).

No one wants to tune in to someone who's just an endless geyser of negativity. Seriously, i wonder what trooper's ratio of hate: praise is on all of his vlogs... If it's lower than 8:1 I'd be shocked.

On the other hand, i don't recall Neeme being overly negative about anything.

Trooper is right though. A lot of Vegas dealers are really bad and are clearly not trying at all. Yesterday i had 4 terrible dealers in a row. One of them made mistake after mistake after mistake..seemingly every hand. We even had a guy smoking at the table and he didn't say anything about it! My buddy used to be a reg in this room and I told him about it and he said they always laugh at how terrible that particular dealer is. Apparently my other buddy likes to take/send pictures of that dealer's flops because he puts the cards out all crooked and ****. Oh, then I had a dealer who made a mistake which cost me a $1k+ pot. I feel like a dealer that was actually trying wouldn't have made that mistake but if he did I would think that he would apologize.

Oh, and I don't know if the Bellagio POTS commentators were being serious about that dealer on there being Bellagio's best dealer but he deals cards at about half the speed of the top dealers I know.

Its funny how Trooper always talks about beating/punish his poker opponents. But when it comes to the vlogger game, he just wants to play for fun. He's not interested in beating other vloggers.

One more thing, if Kraut hardly plays in the vlogger game with a small stack -- why is he even going? I like the guy. But if he can't play the stacks agreed upon -- give the seat to someone who can.

Neeme's last vlog was great. He really is working youtube to meet people/develop his brand. I thought the guy wearing a backpack at a bar was funny.

If the haters stopped watching Trooper's YouTube, the channel would be a ghost town.

It's Trooper vs the world and the world includes his viewers. He feels like he has worked to get the viewers and he owns them now so he can use them to get stuff or sell them to others for money. He sees his viewers as a commodity that he tries to monetize whenever possible because they are only there to give him money.

Neeme sees his viewers as a community (not a commodity) so he wants to meet them, do get togethers with them, interact with them, answer their questions, get their feedback and implement it, and spend time and share life with them.

This is different from the arrangement Trooper wants with viewers where he makes a product (his videos), the users consume the product (watch the videos), and compensate him (with donations and cash). That is all that he is after.

Trooper has mentioned a few times about another vlogger talking crap about him.

Is he referring to Boski or someone else?

Got to say that CzechRaiseCharles put out a solid Vlog after a long absence. Looks like that was a fun 5/10 game he had at the Billagio with the Main Event champion.

Kraut had some text at the end of the video saying he's gonna play full stacked and just go for it iirc

Not to pile on the Trooper (I actually just noticed this but I never mind piling onto the Trooper ), but Andrew did another interview with someone and linked to it from one of his comments under his current vlog. I haven't been keeping track but he's done at least half a dozen, if not a dozen, interviews with other vloggers and poker related media outlets. He did the Joey interview, Barcelona interview with that chick, and multiple interviews that appeared in print (vs video format). He's even appeared on Pond Boy's vlog just to have a beer and chat.

He has a great PR team it seems. Oh, wait, he just is open and agrees to interviews.

Other than with Limon and maybe 1 or 2 other interviews in print from over a year or two ago, Trooper hasn't had any interviews with anyone as far as I know. I wonder if poker publications just aren't reaching out to him or if he has been rejecting any interviews because it might be a troll posing as a CardPlayer or All-In magazine reporter.

It would really suck to get trolled by someone even if it means missing out on exposure in a poker magazine. Totally not worth the risk.

Troop had the chance to play $2/5 with a drunk Neeme and friends.

A huge advantage and easy win.

Did he play?

Neeme worked in the music industry before he became a pro poker player. He presumably has some idea of how to go about promotion. If you were a wannabe poker vlogger, you should try to attach yourself to Neeme's teat, because he probably has the knowledge and ability for networking that may open up opportunities.

Kinda sad to be honest. How does he even mark time going by? He's got no milestones in life and if he doesn't celebrate birthdays, it's all just one big continuous loop of time. No wonder he's got no urgency to improve, he doesn't notice years going by and him doing nothing but eat junk food and complain.
Only video I remember his birthday being referenced was in the December 2013 video in Jacksonville. So I believe it's late December. Not sure the exact date. And of course he won't ever tell anyone how old he is. Wonder if he's embarrassed by his age

Wow, I didn't even think of that. That would have been a great opportunity for Trooper to network with Neeme and Brad Owen ("the hater" ) and just try to clean the slate with them. I'm sure if Trooper found an ounce of humility and talked up Neeme's and Brad's vlogs at the tables, people would start to look at him differently.

Maybe Neeme would actually say a few good words about him and get his fans (double the audience of Trooper) to check out Trooper's channel.

Plus, if he played in the game with Neeme and Brad, he could say that he's up for a vloggers game in general, just not the one in Sacramento. It would prove that he can play nice with other vloggers. Plus, I'm sure it was a good game under the conditions of the game and Trooper could have made some cash playing his nitty style.

Plus, he would have been allowed to vlog at the table which he doesn't do that much anymore because he's been banned from videoing at a bunch of places in Vegas.

Mirage could turn out to be the vlogger's game destination in Vegas for game #2. #1 being Sacramento.

If they pay Troop for showing up at the vloggers game (this is because he has to cancel his secret appointment) they also have to pay the other vloggers (at least the ones who have appointments).

Without Troop it will be a full table of friends.
With Troop it will be him vs the rest (of the world) -> more fireworks!!
