I would guess that it does. Even if it doesn't he has other income streams, plus he's bound to go on another sun run at some point. He's demonstrated what a luckbox he can be, it's probably why he is so fearless even when playing ridiculous stakes.

Lmao Diesels latest. I guess he really really needs those dealermoney coming in when he agrees to trim/shave his beloved beard, and also often weares his fav shirt "death before shaving".

Also that rice with canned tomato meal, talking about nutrition and what not. Come on dude, get a ****ing grip.

I played in his/Mariano’s club for awhile. A quick estimate and I would say it was pulling in 1-200k a month in rake. No idea how much of that they get. But it’s been around for 2-3 years

The big reveal tomorrow to see the trimmed beard down to 3/8 of an inch, he says The Orleans allows 2 inches, so he just won't shave during his work time.

I guess this was filmed April 30th, Tuesday, so maybe tomorrow we see him not getting his free drinks.

The canned tomatoes and rice looked gross, Rice would be shocked that some people actually hit the stairs vs escalator for exercise so maybe they don't get winded walking around.

I will send you roses in the morning to your mother's basement.

That's a whole lot of word vomit there. Great job avoiding the simple question by throwing down a bunch of nonsensical garbage.

Yep because Polaris, a manufacturer of snowmobiles and ATVs, is such an obscure company.

Ha in Vegas these lazy slobs not only refuse to take stairs, they refuse to walk as the escalator moves and spread out as wide as possible so nobody can pass them.

These slobs put me on tilt. I always just take the stairs and pass the people on the escalator.

Hey all:

I read that Rice cashed in his IRA/retirement account & paid penalties & taxes on it.

Unless he was in absolute, desperate, dire circumstances, that was an incredibly foolish move to make.

Another thing that I don't think anybody addressed is that capital in IRA/retirement accounts has pretty good protection against creditors & judgments. Thus, if you go broke, lose a lawsuit, etc. you still get to keep the assets in those accounts. They are protected.

Now, the need to shelter assets will hopefully never be needed by Rice, but you have to set up your insurance BEFORE you need it!

The point about protecting assets has been mentioned before when the thread has been derailed into the finer details of taxes and finances (please not again). We can all agree that Rice makes many boneheaded decisions while smugly proclaiming everyone else is stupid and this is a prime example

I remember seeing him posting that he is 0/24 for ITMs in tourneys this year too which is pretty insane (not counting reentries and rebuys).
I thought he posted a video recently where he cashed pretty big in a tournament.

BTW, is that Action Dan the same guy that got back-to-back Main Event final tables? He must be in his eighties at least.

Ugh, I had to kill that tab when I saw the tomatoes hit the rice.

Also wanted to kill it before he showed a big pile of nasty beard shavings on the floor.

I didn't see mention of it, but he might have moved it into a Roth, which is probably not a bad decision at all. Especially last year, when he was in a zero tax (more or less) bracket. I doubt it though, because he thinks he's going to retire at 40 and doesn't want to wait 20 more years until he can spend that money.

I don't know what to believe when it comes to Rampage.

On the one hand he is punting money hand over fist and then begging for backers (at markup) so he can play high stakes tournaments and cash games. But then on the other hand he is goading his haters to fade his results in an attempt to effectively double his buy-ins for this entire summer's tournament series.

On top of that he even claims that he is willing to book side bets up to 1M on whether he will win a tournament this summer or not. Something doesn't add up with this kid. He either has a hell of a lot more wealth than people realise or he has some silent backers with very deep pockets, but either way he has more balls than brains.

HCL is just unwatchable. It’s like watching 8 drunk monkeys play bingo. Eventually the biggest loser ends up covered in dabber ink from head to toe.

Yup he was still blissfully going about his daily routine of acquiring his free drinks. Would love to have seen his reaction to finding out that the jig is up and that the goose that lays the golden eggs is dead.

Yeah but it's also just about the cheapest "meal" humanly possible. Most dogs eat better food than Rice does.

I think his tournament roll is fine. It's his cash game roll that had a hole blown in it. He really should move down and rebuild it over a year or two, but he doesn't want to do that. He lost it in a few months and expects to rebuild it in a few months.

You must have missed his 2 big containers of oatmeal with liquid peanut butter and rotten bananas he prepped and put in his hotel refridge.

if this is the case, i sincerely hope he was smart enough to take half in december and half in january vs a lump sum in order to reduce tax brackets

He probably took all in the same year and paid full tax in two states. He will have a reason why this is the best course of action. You just don't understand
