In today's installment of Diesel's vlog, I learned if I get on the table change list and a seat opens, I am not allowed to get up and look at the game before deciding cause that makes me a jerk but also some of the time it's to scan the table to see if you still want to go to it.

Does Diesel understand that some people get on the general table change list and not for a specific table and maybe that's why they look over the game before deciding whether to go or not?

Thanks. This series has been an especially fun one to make.

One major downside, though: Since editing the the third pocket sevens punch line, I've taken multiple showers and still feel unclean.

I had to look it up, those stores stopped being called The Price Club in 1993.

Edit: They merged with Costco in 1993 to form PriceCostco, but there were some individual stores still called Price Club up until 1997.

So he’s still gonna be saying Bally’s until at least 2047, makes sense. Can’t figure out why Planet Hollywood isn’t The Aladdin to him, that change happened in the last 22 years or so.

I remember playing 7 card stud at the Aladdin, the tightest poker game I ever played. lol

The craps game was lively, some doctor had a crowd for over an hour he held the dice, and he did this saying about circle the wagon each throw as he moved the dice in a circle right before throwing.

Clever occasionally, omniscient almost never, but the bullshit detector is on point and I can hear it oozing out your pores from Canada.

Rice smugly thinking showing a bluff early (which sure will be a small pot) will get him action later in a big pot when he spends the next 3-4 hours folding. so classic.

lol@him complaining about people looking at a table before they table change.

I learned that Diesel hates playing poker in Las Vegas and all the rooms and games are bad but even though he's homeless he stays here anyway

These guys are really overthinking Vegas NPC level 1-2. Sure, there will be 1-2 guys at the table with a clue, but the rest of the table of old men, grandmas, regular joes might as well be playing with their cards face up.

Strategy talm from players that rarely play hands is hilarious.

There are 150,000 more now with Fountainbleau and Rio renovated hotel rooms in Las Vegas making it the worldwide capital for homeless.

Orlando Florida is the capital for cheap weekly hotel rooms but no comps provided there.

Kind of like the homeless in the valley. They end up here because it's easier to survive.

my very first trip to Vegas I stayed at the Aladdin

it was in the heyday of timeshares and I got 2 weekend nights comped in exchange for agreeing to attend their scam "presentation"

obviously didn't go and never heard from them again

Diesel and everybody else who try to fit the entire Vegas poker scene into a nice little convenient box with sweeping generalizations are lazy clowns. There are so many different rooms, so many different tables, different games or stakes. if you do not like where you are at then move to a different casino or different table, or play at s different time.

I've been in games where 7/9 players started with 100 blinds or less, and I've had games where 8/9 players had 250+ blinds. Last time I was out a guy tried being the table bully. after watching him for like half hour I busted him twice in a row with a pair of kings and bad kicker because I knew he was bluffing. I've been in games where I felt intimidated by most of the other players, I've had games where I bossed the table.

Playing in ND the player pool is smaller so I pretty much know everyone I'm playing with every time and how they play. cardrooms in the Midwest and other places have the same general player pool. Vegas is a conglomeration of players from around the world. you have the misregs, promo/comps grinders, scared newbies, rich newbies, spewy drunks, OMCs, competent recs from out of town, euro pros, bullies, calling stations, folding stations, folks who just want to socialize, convention visitors, etc. etc. the games are never the same. unless you are a comps grinder playing against the same comps grinders in the same place every day there is no need to be in a stale game. if you are in a stale game, then figure out how to have fun or take advantage of it. or find a new place.

the first hand: the "villian" opens then calls a raise, then calls the flop and turn, so the "hero" makes a huge triple barrel bet which is also called. it's just lighting chips on fire.
