He was talking about $500 sales days weeks ago and now breaking records and doing 3 markets a week, so easily 2k+ in sales a week + local deliveries and Trooper Sunday game deliveries.

Ironically, it'll probably be the best week of nutrition he's ever had. If I was in the right mood and an NPC like Rice was pestering me for a free meal, I'd probably hook him up.

That Herbs and Rye fella has the patience of a saint.
Some radical in the comments suggested that Rice do a challenge where he concentrates on earning as much as he can from poker and then eating well for a week.

Where do these kids even get this stuff?

He was talking about $800 sales in a day just recently.

I doubt the $35k max sales requirement stops anyone.

interesting challenges that Diesel should do:

-losing 50 lbs in 1 year
-making $50,000 in 1 year playing 1/3
-shot taking at 2/5
-laundry expenses video

It would be kind of crazy if a fan of the Troopers/SPRKLiSweets took an Uber/Lyft/Taxi to one of the SprkliSweets Farmer's markets from the Strip area, or other casinos.

I don't see how anyone can eat finger food after handling the nasty chips and cards. The only stuff I've eaten at the table came in a box or plate, and I ate with a fork, or a Nutrigrain bar in a wrapper so I didn't have to touch the bar.

It's so disgusting eating finger foods at the poker table.

Not only the nasty chips and cards but it's just straight up rude when you grease up the cards.

Every person that I've seen eating finger foods at a poker table has been a disgusting slob, also usually drinking a daily bottle of gatorade and has biweekly beard washing sessions.

Someone like...oh shoot

El Diesel ends his food challenge and celebrates with a huge 1am feast which he seemed very proud with.

Gatorade, saltine crackers with canned salmon and cream cheese, and a small bag of Cheez Its he snagged at a hotel front desk check in. Not sure if the cream cheese was a liberated buffet condiment, but nothing says fine dining like canned salmon on a cracker washed down with Gatorade.

He ate happily while watching old Trooper videos in his hotel room while the rest of us could only look on and reflect on our miserable lives.

If El D spent half as much time working on poker as he does figuring out the optimal strategy to purchasing premade gas station sandwiches, how much better off would he be?

If Diesel did a low carb diet “challenge” he would lose so much weight it would be silly. From watching all these challenges, I’ve seen he never really changes what he eats, fueling himself almost entirely on rice, bread, and junk like cereal/goldfish/candy with or without an active challenge.

Also, don’t know why people are talking about how diesel doesn’t give results. He gives more results than Trooper ever did, just not broken down by sessions. Diesel gave us his average monthly poker hours for 2023 and then you do a little math to find out he made between $7k-12k for the year, down from making $18-26k in previous years. He has had a massive drop in income and is playing worse poker, doing more wacky challenges, and complaining incessantly because of it.

How does someone survive making 7k-12k a year in Vegas? Even living cheaply it’s only a matter of time he’s deep in debt or actually homeless

I am lost for words after Diesels last one. He have barely eaten anything over the past 4-5 days, and of all things he chooses to rig the room for a feast of crackers with canned salmon.

Not only that, but he seems proud as **** also. This guy is not on this planet earth like the rest of us, like are you kidding me dude.

Bulldog people to buy you food at the poker table.
Carry around a 20lb bag of rice and rice cooker in your luggage.
Swipe as many free condiments as you can to add to your rice and crackers for extra calories.
Drink lots of milk and Gatorade with your free voucher drinks.

Diesel ain’t going into debt and he is already technically homeless. He seems to just be a promo grinder now anyway, he mostly plays in promo rooms and has optimized his play to get in the minimum hours for the player appreciation MTTs, to keep his Diamond plus status etc.

That hand was.. interesting for sure. IMO he should just fold 22 pre there when getting 3-bet, unless he is super deep with Villian.

The idea of betting turn is fine, but he is making it absurdly big for what he is trying to accomplish ($150 into $187). Personally I think $80 or so should be enough to fold out the hands that V has given up with, but that still have a fair bit of outs (Hero can be counterfeited).

And river call seems highly optimistic against someone who called 80% pot on turn and suddenly wakes up on river. While he do unblock the obvious bluff-combos, this is only really relevant if you are facing an opponent who finds these bluffs.

This is an error that I have definitely made many times myself; coming up with reasons for a call, without properly taking into account that when opponent takes this line it's practically never a bluff.

Sorry for the derail, hand histories gets me excited. Now back to discussing El Diesel and Trooper.

He doesn't eat that well. Gas station sammiches would be a big improvement of his diet.

Also, how is he not dead? He said he keeps cream cheese in his car? Dairy is supposed to be refrigerated.
