Yea but he's never getting comp rooms 300 free play etc. Not sure how often you're in Vegas but assuming it's not a ton when you have a high enough ADT to get such offers and swipe your card a few times giving them zero action you can really hurt it.
His ADT isn't very high to begin with and he's on their properties a ton of days so even if he gets drinks and wouldn't be at their properties otherwise that day it really doesn't bring it down that much.
The only comp days I've heard him mention were the 5,000 TC nights.
My comps got cut about 6 months ago and the few times he's mentioned room rates my calendar shows the same rates as him including that 99 dollars at Caesars F1 Friday.
So yea if someone is on Caesars properties 10-20 days a year and is getting comped well it's a bad move to grab the free drinks when you aren't already playing that day. For him the difference is going to be negligible.
A friend of mine also always has the same rates as me in Vegas (in AC they vary slightly).
He probably spent 25 days this year staying at Caesars properties and gave them zero action other than maybe 2-3 wsop events. El Diesels rates arent going to get worse from these drinks. If they would then surely my friends rates would be atrocious by now.
And I say this as someone who is very careful with this stuff. I've had times where I had really good offers somewhere and I go one day to eat hang out etc where they'll get zero action. I won't use my card at all- not for food not for parking, nothing.
