I'm not an expert sports bettor, but the biggest mistake I see people making is trying to solve every game instead of just placing their money on the 2-3 wagers that look most favorable. Many of the games on the sheet look like break-even plays at best to me when I try to pick stuff.

You are correct. However, as a sports bettor, I can tell you that it's extremely hard to only play 2-3 games because sports betting is so much friggin fun. You crank NFL Red Zone all day and watch to see how your bets are doing. 2-3 bets is not enough action for a degenerate like me nor many other's. If you put a gun to my head, I'd probably admit to preferring a manageable loss with 6-8 bets vs a small win with 2-3 bets. I'm fortunate in that despite my love for all forms of gambling, I have a sufficient bankroll and never bet over my head.

Season long prop bets are the next best thing to poker in gambling if you can stomach waiting 9 months. NBA win totals all kinds of good bets to be had. Heres my favorite NBA bet available now. Wembanwhatever his name is is around +100 on various sites to win rookie of the year. He weighs 12 pounds. The spurs are going to be terrible. My guess is he plays 50 games roughly. He had trouble scoring in summer league vs bad players. Chet Holmgren is going to be on a playoff team as a starter and play 70 plus games if healthy. Around plus 300. Scoot Henderson is built like a tank, and if Dame is shipped will have the ball in his hands the entire game and looks to play 60 to 80 games. The rest of the crowd in the ROY race have lots of hurdles mostly centered on playing time. The twins both are looking like they are coming off the bench. The one on the Rockets is going to be a stud, but FVV is playing 35 a night at 43 million if his back stays healthy.

I like the Chet Holmgren/Scoot Henderson combo bet to win ROY. I think MGM has by far the best odds to make such a wager. Those guys should both be around +200 each but as of a week ago at least one of them could be had around +350.
