ESPN had been showing hole cards since 2003 but they were TV broadcasts not vlogs (short for web video blogs). Trooper was the very first to SECRETLY video the hole cards that he played during a session.
Here is Neeme's debut vlog video which comes 4 years after Trooper:
Doug Polk likes to troll that Neeme is the OG. Boski knows that Trooper is was and always will be the OG. That he does not say so is a reflection of his lack of character.
What is the view count for T's early vlogs?
I didn't see them and guess no one that didn't know T did.

Surprisingly, Brad Owen also made his debut 4 years after the Trooper. He and Neeme started at the same year. I'm surprised. I thought he came in much later.
In the vlog in which Trooper was the very first person to ever video his hole cards as he invented the genre called "poker vlog", he actually played 2-5.
It is true that Trooper came up with the concept of poker vlogs. The majority of people in here agree, Neeme credits him with the idea. We're fine with that.
However, if Trooper remained the only poker vlogger (or if all subsequent poker vloggers were like Trooper) the genre would never have become popular. Hence why "Neeme is widely credited with helping to launch an industry of poker vlogs that have spread like wildfire among the community."
This does not mean he was the first ever poker vlogger or that he thought of it before anyone else. He was just the first that had enough popularity to make it an industry.
Anyone old enough to remember Trooper saying he was a lifestyle vlogger, not a poker vlogger ??
Those were the good ole days.
I thought he still said that. I'm pretty sure this is what he uses as an excuse for other poker vloggers being more successful than him. They are in different fields!!
Congratulations Coach El Diesel for a stellar first year as the Vegas Poker Nomad!!! Looking forward to more great poker content from the most transparent, honest, and realistic poker vlogger on the internet. Don't fall down to hell like those fake poker vloggers who only report the wins that are only 20% of their real results, then go on to make fraudulent year end result summaries (with chards and all) claiming they make 10 bb per hour only to get exposed in unedited livestreams for being negative EV players.
Good job Coach El Diesel!

Good job Coach El Diesel!
The deuce’s vlog tastemaker always delivers.
Do we like Ben Deach’s vlog here and thoughts on the segments where he flirts with one of the women working in the Reno Peppermill cage?
Mariano might have 250k on the table, but as coach el diesel explained many times, that means he can lose 250k, while trooper has only lost 513 so far on the year, it would take thousands of years for trooper to be able to lose what mariano could lose in a single hand, so maybe its best to remember some of coach's advice here to see who the real winner is.
Tuff Fish (RIP) videos and Poker Road Life of Ivey deserve more credit than trooper/neeme for “inventing” poker vlogging. Tuff Fish was just an older, angrier version of trooper but more successful in life and played bigger stakes.
Oh man, sorry to hear he was RIP. I couldn't understand how he could get so mad just because a certain card came out.

He was so funny, miss characters like him. I can see minor anger problems coupled with losing big pots to Empiremaker2, who is just blatantly set mining, being turbo rage inducing.
The cage staff vlog segments go hard considering it seems so out of place for a vlog but guys hit on female poker room staff all the time and glancing at the comments it is quite popular with viewers — shows how many live fish are watching these vlogs.

I had forgotten all about Ben Deach's vlogs as they have stopped showing up on my timeline for some reason. I do quite like his vlogs in general though

I think this clip is pretty funny. She says they went to high school together and they clearly planned what they would film so I think it's a joke between them. I expected him to go up and make some sleazy comments to someone he didn't know!!

High school together?
He should be aiming for older.
He is a local celebrity so must have some geriatric fans.
Didn't he get divorced at the same time his son was born?

Thanks for the linq. Super duper hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing out louding. Not a billionth as funny as Marle but
El Deez should abandon poker vlogging and start a YouTube channel on eating nutritious meals on a budget. Guy would make fat bank if he would scale these videos up. We're talking Mr. Beast level of popularity.

Coach El Diesel definitely has possibilities in non-poker spaces. Maybe food. Travel. Vegas. Vanlife. Philosophy.
He should be flexible and just use poker vlogging as some kind of minimum viable product for other possible subjects. He doesn't even have to quit it. He can continue the poker but start other channels.
