Casey Neistat has it down. 8-11 minute vlogs. Packed with action and quick shots.

15-25 minutes is a little ambitious.

Also, as assumed, after a big loss no vlog. So much for jumping back in the saddle.

Trooper was at Bellagio last night. I wasn't at his table but he didn't cash out.

Trooper hasn't responded to the Youtube comments which is something he has been doing recently. He was getting a lot more criticism for his play.

He might not want to put up a video after losing $1k, getting lots of criticism, and then losing again. We'll see though. He has put up videos later than this.

New to the thread. Is today's $1,400 loss his largest in the vlog?

Time to go back to 1/2 and regroup. No shame. Not every shot hits the mark. But if you never take any you won't move up.

He talked about jamming a buy in into AA. Wonder if he got one of those 'rock solid live tells'. Its lucky he blurred out his cards in the last vlog, otherwise he may have lost $2k or even more.

Daaammmmmnnnnnn.

Trooper down $2400 in two sessions!

That's 12 buy-ins at 1/2.

Crazy but it sounds like he's pressing. Not being patient enough and blasting away money with marginal holdings. Top pair hands and whatnot should not be played for with stacks, especially on a short roll.

Time to move down and regroup Troop.

Sucks but you gotta reevaluate some of those hands. Didn't sound like you got cooled tonight, just shoveled off 3 buy ins, in marginal spots.

I actually feel real bad for the guy. You could tell he was really hurting at the end of that vlog when he said "no big deal". Total bummer.

I remember him losing $1411 at PH once (playing 1-2 NL) and saying he didn't want to talk about it.

The people on Youtube that kept pushing him to play 2-5 are idiots. If he wanted to play a bigger game, the 1-3 at Wynn is much softer.

Edit: Not that Bellagio 2-5 is tough but it's a significant step up and he will run into some much better players.

It's a combination of multiple things Steve but from the hand history it seems Trooper was pushing hard in very marginal spots with a poor image (stuck for the session both nights). I know shot-taking has its risks, but TP hands should not be played for stacks on a short roll. I understand the feeling of being stuck, and we've all been there, but the J10 hand for ~$370 OOP, yikes! I'm not even sure Troop knew if he was bluffing or betting for value at the end there. Just seemed lost so now I'm sad for him and hope he's able to regroup. A turn like this could easily cause some long-term tilt tendencies.

Top pair mediocre kicker, lets go for three streets oop.

Also when I listen to Trooper he gives off that vibe, as if he is owed the pot, because he came in with a raise.

Latest Boski vid trolling his youtube commenters with AK was A+. The Sound of Silence and a bath bomb also good.

I remember him agreeing with a comment that his game is better suited for the 2-5. I always thought that in his mind he thought he would do better because he could make more tricky moves and bluff more.

4 or 5 yea.

And he continues to not put the button villain on a range whatsoever (79, 89, 10x, JJ+, etc...) only complained about how long it took for him to get snapped off. Bizarre rationalizing at the end there.

"Why didn't he snap call me with K10 there?!"

2/5 is going to expose a lot more those leaks where Trooper is just betting bc live reads or bc he doesn't understand ranges at all, and the J10 hand is just a microcosm of that.

yes. I have never heard him say "Im betting this to get XX range to call, or checking for X reasons". Just, I bet and I lost.

What has happened since Trooper started this asinine operation play over my bankroll stuff is what we would have expected. The bottom line is he isn't a great NLHE player. Not even close. Add to that his ego and his blog foolishness it hurts him from becoming a better player.

I said it before and I will say it again. Get a job and build and decent bankroll. Stop pretending that you are a baller and learn the game. Then you can think about moving up in stakes.

The problem with Vlogs is that if you are not a top level player like Andrew Neeme you turn into someone living in fantasy land like Trooper.

Also during the vlog he says something like "I was in the restaurant business for years", this might be different in America, but to me this would imply he owned or managed restaurants, started them up and sold them etc. But he goes on to say he waited tables, ill be honest, I laughed at him then.

Edit, also funny to see that Molly already tells trooper that he is lazy

I don't think he thinks in ranges at all. He defaults to the old 2008 bet, bet, bet strat and fold if you get raised(unless he makes a sick soul read).
