Trooper killing the games lately. He's gotta be over 2k for the challenge so far.

Casey quits because he can, whereas Trooper has at least 1/3 of his life funded by the 1% diehards. Unless his current heater continues forever, there's no way he could give up $200 a month in Patreon $100-200 or so maybe from YouTube, and $100-200 in food and coffee gift cards per month.

off topic a bit, but that Casey is a beast, his channel was still growing, he earning a heap, he said the vlogs were just easy now, and he could just phone it in and still bank money. But instead he gona challenge himself, and do other things.
He's not already over 40? I haven't watched his VLOGS, just saw pictures of him but if I had to guess his age I would say 45 - 50.

Casey is an extremely talented cinematographer and filmmaker. He already sold shows to HBO and has been quite successful outside of YouTube.

So that, coupled with the fact that Casey leads an interesting life, makes his vlogs interesting by default. I didn't start watching them til maybe 6 months ago, but he's a true creator and probably has a ton of offers to do other directing and filming.

If Casey is the barometer of YouTube clogging success I'd say Andrew is the closest in terms of quality and interesting story lines.

Unfortunately for Trooper, his financial downfalls have him lacking in vlog quality. He doesn't have the stake (lol) to capture footage via drone or partake in interesting but pricey adventures (traveling on a whim, etc...).

Here is the post that was on FB:

Just a heads up, this might end up being quite a long post and if you are tagged in this accidentally or do not care please untag and I'm sorry if you're wrongly tagged in this, I'm issuing a public warning to the poker community, we have a scammer and a thief amongst us...he is a liar and strung me along for weeks, actually almost a month. Jaydon Ogden should not be trusted, let me just explain how he stole and what he did. He made a stake package in which he would play certain events over a designated time, i purchased $180 in shares from this "package" which was little over 3k starting bankroll total. He played the employees event and then every other event on his schedule he had an excuse to not play, which is fine, that usually just gets put back into bankroll, no biggie, he then takes it upon himself to play whatever he wanted and say it was part of the stake..after 4-6 random events he picks himself, without consulting any backers to see if it's ok or anything, i have to message him to see where we were at??!? Like a month after this thing started, he took a few days to reply and says we are at somewhere like 2k, im like..ok..then a week goes by...no play nothing..so I'm getting a bit frustrated with the situation at this point. So i message him and ask to cash out, this is ridiculous, I told him i don't feel he ran it right at all, i just want out..he takes a couple days to reply again, says ok, well another few days, almost a week, i believe, goes by and nothing..like what's up..so here we are a couple months after this "package" started and not only have i not seen anything but he thinks he can string me along and be a smart ass when confronted about it...I'm not sure if he has ever had anything stolen from him but it's an awful feeling. I confronted him he said monday when he gets back from cali, idk why it's paypal, but today i look, he blocks me... He not only stole from me and others but he thinks he can go on day to day life, in the poker community of all, like nothing happened. I must stress that this post is not because i am out $180 or any dollar amount, $1 or $10k to me is the same with a thief.. alot of my friends...the major major majority actually are poker players or part of the poker community in some way shape or form. It's basically my duty to just warn everyone how much of an awful rat thief punk we have amongst us. He should be isolated from anything poker he is a problem, flat out. He has already been fired from Aria and another local vegas poker room and after was shut out of anywhere in town to work and had to actually seek work out of state. He had a glimpse there of how small Las Vegas and the poker community is. You cannot wrong someone and just go about life like it's ok..he was also outed earlier this year for making a gofundme to "go see his kids" while he posted pics of gambling, drinking and frivolous things..a fellow poker player actually confronted him for it and said that's wrong, they could see if you put 100% towards your kids and still needed help but dude you want others to basically support your kid for you? He is a thief, liar, con artist and his name should and always and will be associated with evil. This is why the poker community is so tight and trusting of one another, we earn that trust, for someone to come into that circle and take advantage of that, is just so wrong. Anyone is welcome to tag him so we all know who we are talking about.

Solid Trooper vlog. Would have been nice to have some poker in it, but maybe MGM is stricter on cameras because i haven't seen any poker since the MGM sessions began.

Also appears he has def given up on the 100 hours and is looking to settle for the 60 hours goal.

I thought he meant he was going to put the 100 hours in when he was on his A game. He was just pushing things off until later like he did before. Unless I missed something. Did he actually say he quit? I doubt he would even admit to that.

Someone in the comments section said he would never play 100 hours and Trooper said they should make a bet.

WTF are you two talking about? He made no such declaration. He may not accomplish his goal of playing 100 hours, but he certainly hasn't made any statements about quitting. So far, he's still putting in hours every night at MGM in an attempt to complete the challenge.

Fwiw i don't think anybody could play their "A game" for 50 hours a week.

But i disagree that it's better to play 20 hours a week of your best poker instead of 50 hours a week where 16 are your best, 24 are nut peddling/minimal winning, and 10 are losing.

If you're a 1/2 player looking to move up, i think at the end of the day you just need to get out there and grind a sick amount of hours. Even if that means just polishing a seat with your ass for decent stretches of those hours.

Andrew's latest vid has more views than Tropper's last 4 combined (with half the subs). That's definitely telling you something in regards to quality and his vlog "journey" lacking progress.

Don't think there will be table action during the challenge more for the increased edit time..he is committed to the daily vlog

Andrew,Whey,Jake and tappen are all giving what most of the posters in this thread look for, poker hands and the thought process behind how they were played

I'm a little surprised by the comments (mostly on Youtube) complaining about not showing hands. He almost always shows himself folding and it's not really a strategy vlog anyway. I'd rather hear him talk about specific hands and find that far more interesting than some video showing him folding something like T3 or 72.

Also the other vloggers have given us a lot to watch if we are looking for that sort of thing.

That's how I interpreted his rambling half paying attention. If he hasn't quit, he sure hasn't put in the effort to succeed which is the same thing.

When Trooper announced the 100hr challenge, most of us were sure he would fail because you can't go from 15-20 hrs a week to 50 hrs a week overnight. It would have been more realistic to go for a 60 hr challenge and if successful up it to 80 and then 100.

Furthermore, Trooper lacks the self discipline for challenges and putting in hours. The guy NEEDS a boss to give him a schedule or else he will dick around all the time. Heck, he would always try to get out early from the Linq where he was making good money.

Playing poker professionally is like having a business. If you can't be a strict boss to yourself, you will fail. Trooper has shown again and again that he can't discipline himself so no surprise on not making it even close to 100 hrs.

If Trooper plays 4 hrs a day, he'll still be just short of the 60 hrs. Just sad.

Never lost any money to him but the guy definitely rubbed me the wrong way when I met him. He was just hanging out in the poker room the 3 times I saw him talking about how he's gonna be interviewing for Poker Face (the retail kiosk at the casinos selling damn poker related stuff). He also mentioned how he had some accident and couldn't deal because of it.

Anyway, it's guys like this that give people a bad image of poker players. What a jerk!

Evelyn, a player, says: He really connects with his players while he's dealing. He's funny and entertaining. He deals with accuracy and speed. When he's working he will promote those playing in cash games to jump into the tournaments if the registration is low and people will register. He talks to top players like they are his friends, not just another buck or tip. He's always got a smile and enjoys what he does. He volunteers to work on his days off if they are short, stay late if it's busy and he's needed. He's very easy to work with. He is proud of the company he works for and represents them often, always telling individuals where they can play some great games and what great incentives his room has. He is, by every definition, the best dealer out there!
Uhhh, pretty sure Trooper said TheTrooper97is the best dealer he's ever seen. This must be lies.
