While El Diesel refuses to move up from 1-3, this guy refuses to move up from 2-5 and 5-10 He has a very different mindset from Coach El Diesel but he seems risk averse also and he seems happy where he's at instead of moving up to higher stakes.

I remember that reading that article back when it was published, and it was an eye-opener for me. Was betting 1/3 pot on c-bets really an out of the ordinary thing back then, or was this dude really a forerunner?

Congrats to El Diesel on the hours challenge and breaking his all-time record for hours played.

There's a pandemic of poker vloggers who are hypersensitive about people commenting on their play. It's tough to balance their psychological need for attention with their psychological inability to handle any criticism.

I couldn't understand why an airline would charge less for ticketing at the airport vs online, esp considering the labor costs involved. Found my answer here:

tl;dr - They lower their tax burden by moving as many fees as possible to the optional category, which aren't taxed.

Disagree completely. In fact, he's probably lived a more interesting life than most posters here have. He lived on a sailboat for 11 years, was a stuntman at Old Tucson for a period of time, was a deputy sheriff in AZ, rode horseback across the country, and did other interesting things as well.

If you don't like his YouTube content or how he handles comments and commenters he doesn't like, there's a simple solution.

I'm sure that given enough time, you'll be able to figure out what it is.

Unless, of course, you're too old and confused.

Just about every boomer in town you talk to at low limit have these rebel, nomad, everyday hero stories about things they did before you were born. I usually smile and let em riff. It gets wilder and wilder the more you let them riff.

Sometimes they even incriminate themselves of sex crimes in poor southeast Asian countries.
