As one of my top supporters I wanted to personally thank you for making all of your posts about me. I truly donít deserve this much thought and attention. Living rent free in your head is a true blessing, and I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the free room and board; you know I need it!
God bless you my brother

It really is weird how obsessed he is with you. Probably a good thing you moved to Florida so you don't have to worry about him stalking you IRL.
When ppl tell me they played at Caesarís iím thinking why?
My personal answer is that I wanted to play in as many rooms as possible while I was there and it was the same night as the Sting concert. Planned for 3 hours, played for less than 90 minutes.
Nitty and dirty and just a gross room to play in.
Not often i see Mariano visibly shaken, as was the case at the end of the recent vlog with the 40k loss.
I dont know how long he can sustain those losses before he need to move down in stakes. Its left to be seen if he has the gear and self insight to actually move down in stakes to regroup in the future, or if he is just gonna go full steam ahead and keep punting off at the big stakes.
Once you get accustomed to that 50k/month lifestyle it’s very hard to willingly move back down to stakes where 10k is a good month. Very few players move down until they are absolutely forced to ie broke. If poker players were smart they would just keep living the same lifestyle even after they moved up but most just go out and buy a 60k Tesla the second their net worth hits 6 figures

Dividends don't usually suffer much, or at all. The company usually has enough cash to make up for temporary shortfalls and they figure they can ride through a recession. Some companies are nearly guaranteed a certain amount of profit, like utilities.
Yeah, i mean at this point he is delusional and not thinking objectively when reviewing his own hands (punts).
The thing with the big hand against Rampage is that he is overbluffing,a leak that Rampage seems to be tuned in on. Like look at what Mariano says at the end "i can just as well have KK/AA there when i blast off 3 streets". Sure he can have that, but with his wide 3 bet frequenzy against a button open+blasting off for multiple streets postflop with that wide range he have alot more bluffs and airballs than valuehands in that spot.
This is what happens usually when you run like god for a good while, and then the downswing hits. The pain is too much to handle at some point. You arent thinking cleary, starting to justify bad plays to yourself ++.
Edit: The way to exploit a calling non believing station like Rampage is to bluff LESS, not more.
Yeah, I agree with your assessment. From what I've seen of Mariano's play, he seems to be skewed toward overbluffing. Since this has worked out well for him thus far, when it doesn't work out in a hand, he seems to think the hands it didn't work out in were the result of runbad, and doesn't consider the possibility that the successful bluffs might have been the result of running good.
I would assume that he has a reputation for bluffing, resulting in him getting fewer folds vs. people familiar with his rep. As a result, I'd think that he'd adjust and bluff less frequently against people he knows are familiar with his rep, especially against friends of his, like Rampage, who know definitively that he's a bluffier player and are more likely to give him less respect.
It is part of Owen's branding that a majority of what he shows are his good betting lines in his vlogs; it is a part of Rampage's branding that he shows a lot of terrible betting lines in his vlogs.
Change of Subject:
Has el Diesel ever revealed his VPIP, PFR, and other HUD stuff for his live play? Links?
Obviously he doesn't know his true VPIP/PFR, he's done a bunch of days where he will track how many pots he wins, how many walks, how many all ins, how much in tips, etc... Leave a suggestion for him to track how many pots he VPIPs/PFRs and he'll do it one day.
That being said he's been pretty clear that he has played LAGgy before but is now a massive nit who just waits to flop big hands and then value bets because 1-2 droolers will still pay him off. Probably like 15%/8%.
Just started watching Mariano after reading the past few pages of this thread. He seems like a good dude and I hope he’s able to turn it around.
His AQ hand did seem like a bit of a punt. But I think you have to kinda be familiar with the game to say definitively one way or the other. I’ve been watching Rampage’s blogs for a little while and it seems to me that the best way to beat him isn’t gonna be by trying to push him off an overpair. But kudos for having the balls to give it a shot.
No idea how much it matters for a general audience, but I said before WSOP he should change his editing during WSOP.
Rampage is obviously very adept at youtube. So maybe I'm wrong, but it makes no sense to me that WSOP tournaments would just go into a queue for his editor like a normal cash game video and come out a month+ later.
Looks like Diesel is getting "Sick" and will probably complete the food challenge if he doesn't pass out from hunger.
So far, he's down to 13 cents for his last day. And seems to still not have comps that would take him to the finish line. What he can do is save the fries from the second to the last day, and eat it on the last day. Maybe save half of the burger bun too.
