I never like missing a hand in any tournament and would be there a bit early for a day 2 of the Main Event for sure, especially if 80%+ of it was paid for by others.
But Trooper wants to lead us to believe it was no big deal being late to the weigh in with PokerKraut cause he notified PK.

And I agree, with the bulk of the buy in being paid by backers, you would think he would have the honor and respect to make it on time for the start of day 2, a pivotal day for sure.

Based on his last update (2:35 p.m.), Trooper is either super card dead or super nitting - probably both.

I think he’s out, I went over to try to find him at table 430 and he wasn’t there. Barstool Nate I believe also out after having a big chip stack, I walked past him talking to kevmath, seemed pretty bummed. I’m sure nobody else in the field wanted to win 10mil. If you really want it worse than anyone why hasn’t he ever put any effort into becoming good at poker? Somehow I doubt he wants it more than anyone. It’s like me showing up to summer league tonight and telling Danny ainge or whoever how I want to be in the nba more than anyone despite not training at all for it

from GoGambleWorld.com

4:10 p.m.

After the second break, the blinds were 600-1200-1200. I pitched the first few hands, and after folding through the blinds, I looked down at Ace-Queen off-suit on the button. A guy raised to 2500 from middle position, and the big stack on my immediate right, with a wide opening range, especially against the initial raiser, made it 10,000 to go. Of course, this is the perfect time to put the entire tournament at risk. There was no decision to make. It was easy. I slid my 18,000 chips into the middle.

Once everyone else folded, the guy only had to call 8,000 more, and the look on his face made it very clear before he tabled his As4s that he really didn't want to throw 8,000 more chips away. I, of course, felt great up on seeing his hand. All I had to do was hold and my 18,000 chip stack becomes $41,500, and my attitude would be one of having just returned from the dead. Who knows what could have happened... had the 4 not hit the run-out. A four. A stupid four. There were only three of them remaining in the deck, and one made its way onto the board. And just like that, this battle was over.

Upon starting level 8, with $21,000 chips, I knew what I had to do. And if there's a part of the game where I am extra confident, this would be the part. I did all I could do, but sometimes that just isn't enough.

With Ashley Sleeth and Trooper having taken a fall, Boski, Lexy and DePaulo remain.

Vibes, Neeme, Owen were out on the first day. Whatever happened to Rampage? Did Jaman play? How about Greg Goes All In? Slow Poker?

I love that it’s so demonstrably false that he “has a good short stack game” or whatever he’s trying to say, it’s basically solved mathematically as far as I understand (jake and Ali crew), such a gamblers fallacy moment. He should be more confident with 100bbs+ vs these tourny grinders who only know how to play w like 50bbs or less

Man….should have booked all those 100/1 bets I offered a few weeks ago that trooper wouldn’t cash….told ya so. Go Gamble!

As for those who “staked” the trooper…some free advice….don’t stake him unless he’s playing sit and go’s with Harry!

Like Hellmuth, Rampage is registering on Day 2 in order to avoid getting KTFO in day 1. But Rampage will most certainly outlast Hellmuth's 1 hour or so.

Brutal but that is Tim, again how anyone would give this guy money is beyond me. He hasn't improved at all as a poker player in 6 years and does nothing to work at improving. I give him credit though that he has found people willing to donate to him. It would be nice to see him make use of it and at least have a chance at winning.

Speaking of Ashley Sleeth, has she won anything at all from what we seen from her? Like how good is she really, and where does she get her bankroll from to fire events at the pace she is?

Is she getting staked by her boyfriend Jessie Sylvia or what is going on?

So, what stopped you from booking them, not even ONE of those bets ?

It's not that surprising tbh...... even though he has a lot of haters on here (and a lot of the criticisms are totally valid) he does have a core of people that watch his vlogs and are on his side. I doubt that many think that buying action from Trooper is +ev. They are doing it to be nice and support him

pretty slick move for trooper
He cashed for like 10k in some dirt 300 dollar tournament
Sells 8k in action for the main
Gets 0
Writes the 10k off against his cash.
