He would go back to being an underdog hero if he admitted he made a mistake and apologized. I can't believe he hasn't picked up this skill at this point in his life, but it's not too late to start now.

He said sorry to PK and probably thinks that's all he needed to do. Some people will have a very hard time saying sorry in a video but it would actually make him look more humble and likeable if he did it (unless he doesn't look sorry at all).

I personally don't care that he didn't take the challenge seriously. If he "let people down," that seems silly to me and I'm surprised they got their hopes up.

The most common defense I'm seeing of him on Youtube was that PK overreacted, who cares if Trooper showed up late because it's not a big deal, and people are crying too much. So they actually blame PK and the "haters." I think that's dumb.

I personally don't think this is as big of a deal as people are making it though. Yeah I'm such a hater.

We have been over this. Anyone who is jealous of the Trooper (lol) must live the ****tiest of ****ty lives. To just come up with the theory that the only reason is we are jealous, it makes you look dumb.

I dont want to say anything negative about his g'f so I wont. but really, what would it take to live his life, and why would you? its awful, grinding 1/2nl daily and pretending you are super happy because this is your last option in life. Failing at something that should be so simple. He has spent 2.5 years fulltime at 1/2nl. If he was of average intelligence he should have moved up in limits by now. But he is now going to gamble it up to try and move up.

No it makes no sense because his biggest critics think he is a train wreck. So I think they watch for the entertainment factor.

I don't think you have watched many of his videos. It wasn't that long ago when people made fun of him with comments like "He says the game is soft. Loses $500 again." Those people weren't wishing they were him.

People often like Trooper after watching his videos even after a few months btw. Even on 2+2 the comments were really positive for months.

i don't watch "law and order" so i can't begin to tell you what's going on. if asked i'd say i don't like it. but i won't watch "law and order" just to have ammo to post what i don't like about it in a forum about "law and order".

When I think his videos are worse than usual I skip around a lot. So a 12 minute video might take 5 minutes to watch.

I don't watch the mailtime stuff. Would be more interesting though if instead of coffee mugs, people send him hate mail lol.

I never said his content wasn't up my valley. I'm not the one coming in here saying I never watch his videos, then defend or rag against the guy.

WTF are you even rambling on about? I used to play 5/T for a living. The vast majority of posters that criticize Trooper ITT have accomplished more in poker than Trooper has.

The one thing about Trooper is that he tends to be honest about this sort of thing. That's why it's so easy to read his sociopathic tendencies. He has no feelings about this, doesn't really care that he screwed PokerKraut over and is only really upset about this because it has made himself look bad.

PokerKraut put his heart and soul into this thing. He was cranking out some epic vlogs related to this and Trooper ****ed him over, plain and simple. This situation is emblematic of the way Trooper lives his life. The world revolves around him and he doesn't give a **** what other people think or feel no matter who they are.

To be fair, he's spent the better part of the last 10 years grinding 1/2.

BTW I'm not anonymous I'm quite accessible and while I my work maybe seen as mediocre or hacky by some (or many) i objectively live a fun and successful life. The fact that one of my hobbies is using a phone app to watch and discuss Vegas and gambling related things is fairly incidental.

I've been running errands all day and making calls, I know the over 50 crowd finds mobile multi-tasking overwhelming but it's not a big deal.

Now I have tix for Gary Clark Jr. At the Fonda Theater and honestly you all are no longer very interesting.

You are wasting your time. The constant criticizers/life critiquers will never get it. They think they know someone based on a 10-15 minute video he puts out most days. This quote sums it up. What they won't acknowledge is that people who slow to look at an accident and are entertained by a 'trainwreck' are the nut low.

I am not defending the Trooper. I have mostly been entertained by his vlogs. Recently I think he has spent too much time addressing the negative comments and haters. It does not make good content.
