in fairness, i don't doubt he's burnt out... he does it to himself though. dude needs to realize people won't mind if he only blogged 3-4 times a week. the clowns who say "i need my Trooper fix!" in his comment section will get over it in a couple days. And this is coming from me, who basically watches (skims a lot) every vlog at some point every night.

I ain't gonna lie I am like DC accept I am hoping for the opposite...I watch everyone of his videos because I am waiting for the inevitable when he comes crashing down...It's like watching the WWE there are guys you just love to hate and this bloke fits the build. Now I don't want to see him go homeless or anything like that but the dude is in for some serious humbling by someone or something.

I'm somewhat puzzled how on Monday, Tropper is calling out haters and saying he's doing what he wants, he's living his dream, and nobody can tell him otherwise. By Thursday he's asking himself if he can do it anymore. Contradict much?

This is a guy who is from the Tampa area, it is similar to the Trooper stuff but he is actually funny and has a more social, positive outlook on life. It is not all poker content, but I find it pretty funny even when the poker isn't the focus. He is a dealer and player, really nice guy too. I won't say who, but a number of the people featured in these videos have been in "The Home Game" story in one way or another. It definitely depicts poker life in Florida to some extent.

I am no good at hotlinking Youtube, but here is the link to his channel:

Pokerkraut did a really great job with his latest video. That Rocky montage was probably my favorite moment in any poker vlog I've ever watched. Pokerkraut should really have way more subs!

Actually on second thought, I dont really know how exhausting it is to sit down for 10+ hours a day while taking hour long coffee breaks.

Edit - Molly has bagged herself a keeper. He should just move in with Molly and be a stay at home dad.

I stand by the statement that this is likely some troll attempt or possibly related in some way to Challenge with Kraut. I'm not going to lie I was hoping one or both would do the LVL Weight loss thread. Still hoping Gobbo or some semi famous joins up.

Damn, this dude has a lot of vlogs. Here is the first:

Thought he was going to be healthier than Trooper but then he got his sandwich with extra bacon. Not kool of him to grab two lids either. He only needed one. Also why can't he pronounce Chipotle correctly? Eating while driving isn't safe, although Jimmy Johns is probably a safer choice than Chipotle. He seems to lack any real direction in life. Also he eats with his mouth open and does gross things on camera like burping and doesn't seem to give a ****. Really, I see no ****s being given whatsoever. His room is a complete mess and why is he wearing tshirts made for teenagers?

His decision to make videos from his closet reminds me of these big dudes that drive little ass cars or vespas.

Share him with friends at work and on social media - word of mouth absolutely works

Wonder if Trooper did take a hit to his ego when Neeme blew past him and now has double the subs? Maybe he just doesnt care at all

Then when Andrew decides to sell shirts and he is now out of stock, it must chip away at Troopers enormous ego. He was getting up to 10% kickback from blind squirrel? - but according to Trooper they are not returning his phonecalls anymore

It's for entertainment, trust me he has a full time job as a poker dealer and a family life. Some of the food vlogs may not have direction, but he's actually a pretty cool guy. When I asked him about what his intention was, he said "Just to give the watcher 10 minutes of possible entertainment in their day". Give him a chance, it may grow on you. Not giving a **** is part of the entertainment factor.

Do note that most of the poker content is newer (vlogs 40 and up).

Sort of, but he primarily deals poker and plays on the side. Trooper is trying to make a living off 1/2 and comps, etc. There's one video of the Christmas party where Mike Laake makes a drunken appearance, lol.

Sad to say, I watch, (skim) on a nightly basis. I have started to completely skip the mail time videos.

It looks like the Vlog is starting to feel like work for the trooper. He should prob cut it down to 2-3 a week.

I'm guessing Trooper openly debating whether to continue in today's vlog is related to his "idea" a few days ago about monetizing the vlog by having people send in $2 or $5/month. He's probably been annoyed for a while by how much work and time he has to put into the vlog and has reached the point where either the vlog starts paying for his time and effort or he moves on to something else. The fact he actually has something to do with his free time now (Molly) likely triggered this reevaluation.

I think Pokerkraut's last vlog shook Trooper up.

As far as the burnout, I worked a full time job (waking up @3am) while going to law school at night -- and the Trooper is too tired to make 10 minutes video? WAAAAAA!! Go cry me a river. I just unsubbed. Call me when he completely loses his ****.

Try doing all that while drinking a pot of coffee before bed. Trooper does and that's why he gets no sleep and probably has adrenal fatigue.

The guy is an average NL player with no money, doesn't know how to dress and makes vlogs where all you see is people sending him coffee mugs and drinking overpriced coffee.

If you are going to spend your time watching 10 min vlogs of a guy that plays micro stakes and doesn't even try to play big tourneys and improve. Well.

Just checked out the Blind Squirrel website and Trooper shirt is on the front page as the first shirt in the "hot items" section but there are 20 quantity for every shirt (they have them in several colors.)

I don't think that Trooper promoted it enough on his vlog and I guess the relationship is dead now so not sure if he'll help them sell off supply. Also, the shirt looks like crap. The blue one is the best one but the Trooper logo just sucks. (Sorry Trooper.) Andrew went a much better route (probably thanks to his better half) and made the shirts not entirely poker related and something you could wear to places OTHER than the poker table.

Also, seeing Neeme and his fiancee explaining the sold out situation made me see how excited they are for this and I hope the merchandise just explodes! (Positively) Maybe pass on the underwear and socks and stick with shirts and hoodies.

I enjoy this thread more than the vlog. I now enjoy the YouTube comments more than the vlog (but not as much as this thread still.) It looks like Trooper's last video whining about his "difficult" life might be another turning point in his story. He built up an audience and failed to deliver. It looks like A LOT of people are turning on him and many for good reason.

When Trooper complains that life is too difficult and stressful and that he needs a break from making 10-15 minute selfie stick videos on YouTube for 10-15K people who actually watch his stuff, he's really rubbing people the wrong way. The guy just asked for money on Patreon, mugs via the mail, and even ranted to all the haters about how awesome his life is. Less than a week later, during one of the busiest poker times in Vegas all year (March Madness opening weekend/St. Patrick's Day combined), he has his little baby meltdown and complains that he needs a break.

The timing of this "going dark" stunt is odd considering people just paid for exclusive content on Patreon and he's got his PokerKraut weigh in coming up.

Could this be the inevitable train wreck? Did Trooper finally realize that Neeme totally destroyed him and that he'll never catch up? Will Molly stuck it out with Trooper when he spins into depression, starts binge eating pizza and donuts, and degens his bankroll in a "make it or break it" run at $2/5nl? Maybe that will be the most watched final vlog episode ever?

(LOL, I just wrote this over a few hours while playing poker. I broke my own rule of multi tasking while playing but just added a sentence here and there over several hours of hands. Just scooped a nice $450 pot against a friendly tourist who wanted to gamble on the turn with his heart flush draw against my 2 pair (JT). Now going to rack up my profits (guy I busted was the main fish and he's leaving), take a break, eat some almonds and veggies that I keep in the car, and rebuy fresh across the street for mini session #2 of the day. That's how you do it Trooper. Put your head down, be friendly at the table, and grind it out! Profit $385 so far today and $723 for March Madness weekend so far!)

^^^^^^All things considered he should be thankful he's running well at the moment. Not sure what his outlook would be if he was in a downswing right now. He needs to act like a trooper. Also yea Neeme lapping him and then doubling his subs in less than a year has to be soul crushing.

You mean "when he loses his ****" for the umpteenth time? Like when he was down to the last hundred dollars to his name after cashing his paycheck at a payday loan shop (completely broke) and then luckboxed a 40k BBJ? Like when he lost the 40k BBJ to (as he put it) being lazy? Like when the Vegas restaurant job was too tedious and he quit and then went broke (yet again)? Like when he lost the 5k Vegas stake? Like when the Vegas dealing job was too tedious and he quit?
