When you look at Trooper, you see a guy trying but falling short again and again so you pity him. You feel for him and his struggles and want to help. Giving him some cash isn't gonna change your life but it will help him get by.
When you look at Andrew, you see someone who is doing okay in life and see that he is on par with you and can just root for him without feeling like you need to help him.
It's a natural human reaction to try and help those that are worse off. It's why you would give money to a homeless looking person (dirty, ripped clothing) but not a guy in nice, new looking, brand name clothes asking for money on the corner.
The funny thing is that there were some vlogs where Trooper yelled and insulted some homeless guy asking for money without seeing that he was probably seeing himself in the homeless guy and was pretty much taking his anger/frustration out in a mirror image. Look at him now, he's actively asking people to give money for his channel when he already gets ad revenue from YouTube. So he's not homeless himself but he's actively soliciting charity from people.
Anyone else see the thick layer of irony here?
