You were indeed so dumb that instead of understanding Churchill’s quote as a statement that crisis provide opportunities for fresh insights and methods of operation, you chose to cynically interpret it. But maybe you are right and he was really happy about WW2 and global destabilization because then he could grab more personal power. Im sure tonybigcharles would agree with you.

sounds true.

Facial recognition programs are currently used by Customs and Border Control. When I go through CBP in Houston, I am not even asked for a passport. Al that is needed is to pull down my mask for a quick scan of my face and a record of my name and information is printed out for me to hand over as I leave. Passport never leaves my pocket.

Every person has different metrics of success. For me, I am married with two kids, and we pull in quite a bit more money than Trooper does but also have much higher expenses (or what others would call a monthly nut). I play poker recreationally live 2-4 times per month, and a little online for fun. I couldn't really ever have the lifestyle of a 1/3 or 2/5 grinder because it is so -EV for me from a $$ perspective compared to my career.

Trooper however, is actually in a much better spot than many-a-grinder in LV and elsewhere. Stable relationship. Large community that supports him. Multiple streams of income. What I don't understand is why others have to **** all over him because it is not a life they would choose to live. He is living the life that he wants to live, and has consistently been improving upon it.

The last thing his vlog needs is more restrictions and lockdowns.

Of course last time he played 2-5 he was only buying in for $300 though, and then he started playing at PH again.
He doesn't have the bankroll to play over 1-3 I mean it's obvious

Oh, that just one of his gimmicks on this forum. You should check out his posts on the Postle thread, lol.

BTW, I guess you weren't around back in the day when Trooper was widely supported in the original thread and Dream Crusher was one of the original "haters" with mostly negative posts about Tim. Then when this thread turned mostly negative towards Tim, DC did a 180 on his trolling and became one of Tim's biggest supporters in this thread, lol.

DC's always good for a chuckle regardless of what subject, thread, or individual he's trolling.

BRM guides usually say 20-30 buy ins for an experienced player.
So you are telling me Trooper doesn't have $6,000 to $9,000 to
play 5/5 $300 min buy in?

Isn't he up close to $8,000 this year? I guess his expenses eat
into his poker roll if he can't afford to play 5/5.

Trooper tried moving up to 2/5 a few times. They did not end well.

Up $8K for the year is not much when you don't have regular income.

Rampage is apparently still stuck from that 10k punt.

So technically, Trooper is ahead of Rampage at this moment.

How many places can he play 5/5? People would get tired of seeing him in the same 2 or 3 places all the time.

I'll say one thing about his videos at Resorts World. Lots of nice shots of Sapphire and Deja Vu on Industrial. Reminds me of the good old days of staying at Stardust and stumbling out of the back, and stumbling across the street, no cab required.

I’ve gone through this in Houston several times. Thought you had to scan your passport at those kiosks as well as take a picture. I’ll be going through CBP in Houston in a couple days, let’s see.

Latest Trooper Results:

Spoiler:

+27

2021: +7,892

I unironically think he really should play 2-5 right now, i question his mental toughness and ability to deal with the swings, but i this is the time to try when you are winning

The thing about wanting to play at different places is so dumb, there are 8 casinos in las vegas that regularly run 2-5. Aria, bellagio, south point, red rock, resorts world, wynn, venetian and caesers. Also the orleans sometimes has 2-5. Its just an excuse for him, he comes up with a different one every time he tries to take a shot.

I heard another blogger say in a video where Rampage had a cameo that he was out of that hole. Might have been Mariano.

Also, Ethan does have that 164k score from this time last year.

Tim always runs in last place.

I know it's not part of the 10k punt challenge and no idea what his buy-ins cost, but Rampage had ~$16k worth of cashes from the online events he streamed.

This just confirms my point. When a new candy flavor is the highlight of your vlog, it just confirms that he's at the back of the pack.

What are you talking about? The new lollipop flavor is the hook that gets return viewers. Who can quit the vlog on that cliffhanger?

Yokosawa is in Vegas playing cash games. Most of it is pretty explanatory and it's basically him walking around Vegas, showing some hand histories and him eating, like any typical low limit Vegas vlogger.

The first 3 days of his trip he logs 27 hrs in the 1/3 games at various casinos and ends up with a slight profit. On day 4, he moves up to 2/5. After a bad session at 2/5, he is not happy with his results and says something like "I should be printing money at these low stakes."

He sums up the results for the trip so far saying that the play at all the 1/3 rooms was pretty similar but that you should avoid rooms with a jackpot drop. He says the Wynn had by far the toughest 2/5 games. After 54 hrs of play of 1/3 and 2/5, he is +$1904. He's disappointed with his results at the low stakes (in terms of $$ but not BB/hr) and next time will move up to his usual high stakes and play at the Bellagio.

Agreed, the amount of hate for Trooper and TBC in this thread is unbearable at times. I think it has a lot to do with their politics, which is sad to see, the thought police are very powerful these days.

He's far more entertaining as a HS spew whale than...just about anything else.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I doubt Phil Galfond throws away his stack because someone else is wearing a mask.

Have serious doubts TBC's comments that he is better Omaha player than every single Omaha coach on RIO is true.
