I take it you didn't bother to notice the chat from that point on? Or even the reaction of the other people in the room?

I'm sorry you think that because one person said a slur and the other person accepted their apology that this is no big deal.

I guess we could not get through another page without some Social Justice issue coming up - /sigh/
fwiw I'm a middle age gay man and I miss some gay jokes and people being comfortable with light banter. Nowadays everyone is walking on egg shells and waiting for any opportunity to denounce someone.
Words come with context, tone and texture; hence humans get along better in real settings and mostly horribly on Twitter.

Don't remember him ever saying this was his second stab at Vegas, does anyone else?

He has been up-front about it in previous videos.

Banter is what the LouisCK video was. I could well be wrong, but the Mariano comment was not that.

He mentioned spending a lot of time in Vegas a couple years ago but I don’t remember the busto part. Not sure if it was a real shot or just messing around.

I noticed while watching the stream and was a bit taken aback. Totally different from how Mariano is presents himself in his vlogs.

It’s not nice to use someone’s insecurities as a nickname. What would you think if someone referred to you as “small pp man” every time you got felted?

You get used to it after awhile.

...maybe Mariano's trying to tell us all something there?

I believe i talk about it in my origin story video. My first stab was just "messing around". I was living with alot of roommates, rent was cheap, and I had a life roll of 5k lol. It was a great experience that really opened my eyes to how far I needed to grow.

EDIT

I also talk about it in detail in the random podcast i was on. https://www.buzzsprout.com/1604830/8834761

If the apology is sincere and there is a genuine effort to change behavior, then it's at least tolerable. If there's a BS non-apology apology using language like "I'm sorry if anyone is offended" or claiming that you're not the person who was caught on video or audio, then it's not okay.

People can change. People can be rehabilitated If they couldn't, then we should just lock up every criminal forever with no chance of parole or execute them.

That being said, people should not get infinite second chances and sometimes you can tell right away when someone is incorrigible.

She appeared a few times in one of his more recent vlogs, and let's just say her doing so definitely contributed to an overall positive viewing experience.

Another example of a twoplustwoer going gaga over an ordinary girl in a poker vlog.

One of the biggest narcissists calling other people narcissists. More great content from the most famous unemployed schlump on the internet.

Why doesn’t TBC play in bigger games then? Didn’t he have $40k recently? Or is he playing above bottom stakes now? I haven’t looked at his blog in a while.

Probably a surprisingly high number of poker players would refuse free poker coaching even if it could be literally anybody in the world.
