Funny story... one time David Oppenheim got asked if you put a gun to his head and he had to back either Hellmuth or Matasow which would he take? He said the bullet

I think the same applies here.

Why wouldn't he demonstrate he could beat 1/2 before playing 5/10?

Expecting rationality out of a losing player is absurd. If he was rational, he would have either stopped playing or learned the game by now.

The guy doesn't drink why wouldn't you wait until Friday or Saturday night and go sit down at 10/11pm and try to isolate the drunks who might be playing. His roll was around 10k so he risks 20% of it at the worst possible time without thinking anything thru lol. I have nothing against taking a shot but at least give yourself the best chance to succeed when you do it.
Because he doesn't let fear control him. Or common sense.

However, his point is valid. Those players are terrible for the game, both the 5/T game and poker in general. Nobody wants to play with those guys. It's not fun whatsoever, and other entertainment options look far more entertaining when the prospect of playing poker includes them. There are far better more profitable players that anyone would rather play poker with than these boring robotic players.
I agree with your points. They're not great for the game in the sense of being entertaining. However, he's at a table full of likely regs in that game, and made the distinction about a couple of them being on the spectrum. That's the only part of it that I take issue with.

I also understand that he's saying it out of frustration, but, if you substituted the word Aspergers there for blacks, it's pretty clear it's an uncalled for distinction.

Nah. If you've seen enough of his vlogs, they really are basically the same order of shots: intro, talking, music/random filler, talking, music/random filler, maybe couple hole cards, music/random filler, talking, end. When you have the filler scenes pre-recorded (what I mean are the random shots of the Strip, the traffic, the hotels, etc.) then it literally takes 5 minutes max after uploading the new stuff. Plus, the video editing software they have nowadays is amazing. Again, not crapping on Trooper for this or that, but it just doesn't take a lot of time after you've done it so much. For beginners, it always takes a while because they start from scratch, have to re-watch in order to 'cut' and 'paste' their vids--- instead of just recording straight from the start.

Trooper doesn't have random prerecorded filler material. He films everything the day of the vlog. I just fast forwarded through his 5 latest vlogs to confirm.

Do you create YouTube videos?

I think he really built up the level before he played there. Maybe he was anxious about it, and wanted to just get it over with instead of having it be on his mind for the next few days.

He even went so far as to make a shirt to let everyone know he's not scared. That seems to me like he was trying to convince himself.

How can you all watch his vlogs!?? So painfully boring and nothing. Would rather scrub my oven or mop my floors than watch.

I tried yesterday.

He just eats candy and rants about nothing, with little thought. Talks about how he is in the car vlogging and wasn't in the car vlogging. Shows video of taxi driving on strip. More candy. Talking about eventually eating.

Just literally nothing.

Personally loved his Vlogs when they first went up. The story was compelling and the editing very good...
Now I just watch the occasional video if I am perusing YouTube during the day to see how hes getting on. Its an absolute car crash now unfortunately with very little entertainment but feel I have atleast the minimum interest purely because I have watched for so long...

Not sure if any of that makes sense..

Anybody who struggles this hard at his age to decide when to eat and time his meals and what / how to drink water/coffee ..... maybe he's projecting when he insults other people's intelligence.

LOL you clearly have ZERO experience with video editing. It takes multiple hours to edit a vlog like Trooper's. Brad and Neeme commented that it takes them over 10 hours to edit a vlog (granted they have card graphics).

I still say 2hrs max on average for Trooper. It's the same formula he's been doing for years and all linear.
Maybe some take a little longer but most are probably well under 2hrs for the majority.

Pman's videos are pretty similar to those of Trooper.

How long does it take for you to edit each video, pman?
