Yes I know what expected goals are. In fact, I even used multiple regression to see if there were any stats that correlate strongly with predicting future NHL outcomes. Unfortunately I couldn't find any for hockey. Basketball yes, baseball yes. Football I'm optimistic about, but I haven't delved into it yet.

I have been around sports betting for most of my adult live, if you think your going to come out ahead laying -155 and -165 on hockey your crazy. You can't lay that kind of juice in any sport day in and day out. It's hard enough to beat -110 why do you think professionals have multiple outs and look to bet at shops with the lowest vig such as -107/-105. They understand what these fly by nighter wanna be professionals don't.

I just watched the highlight video on YT, but it makes you understand why people are high on Landon though. He is thinking about everything at all times and understands what he should do and with what. On the other hand most everyone else is like, meh, I want to play.
