Rampage is definitely not a good player

I’ve been watching rampage vids since his early days. Seems legit to me.

Sun running for sure and has some serious tilt issues. Might not be best recipe for success but would make interesting vids with a cold run. IMO seems like a good kid that hopefully doesn’t go off the rails when the bad run comes and doesn’t think this scorching run = a poker career.

C) he cherry picks his sessions to post on youtube
I'm going with option C. If you think about it there is really nothing wrong with that since it's for entertainment purposes aka "content and clout" he knows the youtube game well and is killing it

I don't have time to pick out the "fabricated" hands but if you watch all his vlogs there are a few big hands that make you wonder. He mentioned he is sitting on tons on footage and wouldn't be surprised if he has ton of hours of stock hands and suddenly it's real easy to tell whatever story you want.

How many times you think Andrew or Brad filmed a session but didn't post it because it's poker and things don't always work out? I'm going to guess it happens about half the time (credit to Brad for posting the brutal stretch)

No doubt he is a winning player at live low stakes not to mention the bracelet bink but you got to be kidding me if you think every single one of those hands is legit

So yes. Don't get LASIK because unplanned things can happen.

Thanks for nothing!
My boss got it in her early 40's. By her late 40's, age had changed her eyes enough that she was wearing glasses again.

For each post about lasik I’m going to talk about 3F.

3F, can you give us a rundown of your workout routine?

3F is a national treasure, the thread should be named after him.

New name: Poker Vloggers, 3F, and lasik.

He's a local kid. I've seen him once at the tables, but I haven't played since Covid. I was probably one of his first subscribers.
He doesn't report his losing sessions. On one vlog, he once admitted how he was getting killed at Twin Rivers.
Good kid, but I would not copy his style.
Probably has money from parents.

As I posted before, I only had Lasik done on one eye. After this discussion I decided to close my other eye and see how well I can see out of my Lasik eye and I can confirm that now after 8 years my it's a bit difficult/blurry to read things at a distance with my Lasik eye. My other eye has reverted to being dominant just as it was before the surgery. Before the surgery I had 20/20 vision with both eyes, but 20/10 out of my other eye and something bad out of the eye I had Lasik performed on(20/90?).

Ethan "RampageP" Yau Wins 2020 WSOP Online Event #26: ($164,494)

Rampage Poker is a winning poker player, he has been on a 2 year heater.
At the 1:05 minute he mentions his 2019 Winning amount, (+26,292), then at the 3:15 minute he mentions his 2020 cash winnings (+37,255), adding his WSOP bracelet money, he scored $200K in 2020.

This video is worth watching.

Wow, he won a Wsop event. I guess I have to take that back. Congrats to him. I haven't watched a vlog of his all the way through, except the one where he was in Vegas, in about a year. So a lot of improvement can happen in a year if you play and study everyday. Not surprisingly, his style is more fitting for tournaments. I personally think tournaments and cash, those are 2 different skills. Just my opinion.
When he made his first vlog about two years ago, it was pretty low quality and he repeatedly said he's just a beginner. I stuck with him because he was from my area.
I still think he had the good fortune of coming from money, allowing him to play without fear as he was starting out. ( he's a college student who makes trips to Macau to play poker. I doubt a 21 year old college student earned enough by himself. Just my read. And my reads are usually pretty good.) But yeah, he's a college student, or was, so he's definitely got a brain on his shoulders.

LoL, I thought this was said in sarcasm. I know lots of terrible players that have won tournaments. Hell, I know a player that won a bracelet in a game he didn't even know how to play (and a poker hall of famer later told me he still didn't think the player knew how to play that game even a couple years after winning the bracelet).

He does have an occasional session when he is not on a heater.

Seems like he is helping her to become a "youtubestar" just like himself. I remember people where asking in the commentary alot what Lady Trooper does for a living a while back, but she never wanted to adress that back then.

I guess the answer is nothing, but now she is gonna do youtube just like our boy Trooper!

I've tried watching one or two of her videos but she is incredibly boring. I can't imagine someone actually watching every one she puts out.

lol. Well, I do think winning a bracelet is a great achievement. I'd love to win one.
But, if you pay attention to the rest of my post, it will reveal more truthfully of how I really feel.
Hey, Rampage is a local boy from my hood. Dirty water is thicker than water.
