It lists the prices as "monthly effective rents". I assume that means it includes something like sign-up bonuses like one month free for new tenants, amortized over the first year?

in reference to his high dollar apartment.

Yeah that wouldn't include any long term lease agreement sign up deals. iirc he signed up while the complex was still under construction, so they could have very well been running a deal for that to fill it up pre-opening.

Ouch that is a lot for no private pool/gym. HOA's in high rises are killer.

I'm actually in the process of looking into one if the Elysian properties since I need to move soon (,my place has gone downhill fast as these places are prone to). The prices range pretty wide at this particular location from low $1300s for 1br to $2700+ for 3br townhouse. On top of this there's a $80 charge for trash service/water and $125 for mandatory Cox package. It's def more expensive than I'd like and would be well over my range/wreckless if I were a single income I wouldn't go over $900 but with gf splitting rent&insurance it's 'doable'.

No btw it's not the one troopers at, that would be pretty funny though bc could leave creepy packages on his doorstep for maiiiltime

Ok...so this chick changing in her car in gym parking lot completely doesn't understand I'm sitting in the car beside hers. I feel kinda creepy.

*Obvs I should pull out the camera for video but question the legality/morality of doing so

You can buy a $250k house for less than that, and you can get a pretty decent house for $250-$300k in Vegas.

a good attorney argues the lady is commiting a crime when she publicly exposes herself, witnessed or not.

here's to hoping you filmed and will peach fuzz all indicators of identity before posting

also, hoping the areolas were of the smaller variety and overall shaping/sizing of the breasts was proportional... no pointy elbows either ldo

also also, impressive 1st video dude, gonna re-go thru second vid, but that one is def for the degens and likely adds a good bit of value for those that are serious about improving..i am certainly looking forward to moar

also also also, instead of the word "Hand" in the graphics, could you please put the word "Hero"...and maybe color the text differently for villains and such so our hand is easily referenced and compared? i would suggest colors for all graphics, Jake kills that.

** could each of you sticky the equipment you guys use in all videos and keep updated with any future changes/additions...might help laterz too ya know

Troop talking about the election in the latest VLOG. lol, Hey Troop, you don't have a job, you don't pay taxes, and you don't contribute to society in any meaningful way. So what makes you think we give a **** about what you think about the election??

Trooper quitting after 3.6 hours of poker to lock in a big win. I get that he doesn't want to donk that $500 away till the next night but how are you going to get 50 hours in a week if you leave after 3.6 hours?

Also, his drive is about 20 minutes each way. If you include the walk from the NY, NY parking garage to the MGM poker room, it's 30+ minutes at a minimum each way. So he is commuting 1 hour to work 3.6 hours. Think about that.

If he just cashed out to lock in the win and walked over to Planet Hollywood or Aria for the remaining 5+ hours of his session, he would be on target to get those 50 hours.

I understand that for him, a $500 win will make his day and he is floating on cloud nine because he can say he only has to work 3.6 hours today and still make $500 but that will average out into the winrate so he can't be booking wins and cutting his hours short. Another 5 hour session at Aria would be the right way to go.

Just wanted to put that out there for anyone looking to seriously grind poker. Set goals and hit said goals...even if you book an early win.

Prices are going up and rents as well. The luxury apartments are super expensive and those that bought a house 2+ years ago are clearly paying way less for their mortgage for a free standing house with more square feet.

Even now, you can get a cheaper mortgage on a home than a "luxury" apartment per month if you have good credit. You'll end up getting more square feet as well but not the same fancy amenities like pool, gym, etc.

The thing that bothers me about LV homes is that they are packed together like sardines. You can touch you neighbor's house from your window but then again, if comparing to an apartment, you atleast have that 4ft buffer zone.

You can mortgage for less than rent on comparable size places almost everywhere. The problem is a lot of people (like trooper) can't get a mortgage.

Andrew is over 5K+ subs
Trooper is over 11K+ subs

Trooper's last video from 21 hrs ago is at 3.4K views
From 2 days ago, 6.7K views

Andrew's last video from 1 day ago is at 14K views

I think this properly represents the content and quality of product between the two vloggers. Although Trooper is the Doyle Brunson of LV Poker Vlogging, these new internet kids with their mathz are on a different level.

I'm looking forward to more of the drone from Andrew but unfortunately it is illegal to fly that think within 5 miles of an airport and that covers the strip up to Circus Circus

Yeah the consideration for myself if I go for the Elysian or similar properties would def be on site and close proximity amenities. +I've owned a home in the past and there are some minor challenges/hassles that you can avoid in the rental game as well.

I think that the quality of troopers vids is good, the slowing of subs and views as opposed to Andrews vids is due to a general stagnation...I can only watch the make eggs>coffee>pizza>mail>occasional 1-2 poker session so much so often. I find myself skipping to end for results a high % of the time now as my main curiosity is how he's funding the continual loses (yes I realize he's on an upswing as i type this).

*Also I'm doing a fast (5-6 min) Q&A to kick off next vid so if anyone asks anything on my LvL thread or in YouTube comments I'll try to hit it up even what seem to be the traditionally avoided topics like bankroll/expenses and that sort of thing. Thx

I think its largely due to the fact that Trooper is churning out daily videos and that's a lot of content for people to take in. He should slow down in my opinion.

3 vids a week would be plenty....
- Its hard to put out something interesting every day.
- Each video would be more impactful with better content.
- It would give him increased time to play the pokerz.
