I'd love to know her story. Not the bs she portrays but what actually is going on.
I think she said she wants to be an actress. So she does things to try to put herself out there.

Hit the nail right on the head. This can happen to men as well, typically men in position of power where they think their subordinates are their friends. They often mistake good will gestures, aimed at helping the employee gaining favor as a sign that they are more interesting than they thought.

She wants to be a stand up allegedly but I think you’re right it’s just another attention avenue toward acting or maybe hosting.

Looks like Trooper Thursday is done and looks like Trooper is done.

And not across town to take the tram or skateboard.

I don’t even think she is that attractive. She is kind of cute though and she isn’t fat so that does put her ahead of a lot of women. Put her in the poker rooms with a bunch of guys, and yeah she will get plenty of attention.

That Trooper vlog was brutal . Not sure what I was expecting after a 2 week layoff but it sure wasn’t that. Unless this is some sort of cry for help he would have been better not even putting it out. Dude sounds clinically depressed.

"nothing to worry about there's not a hard time in business that I can not handle"

Trooper posted in IG story last week while sitting with a girl and drinking coffee, with heart emojis, forgot exactly what it said but it was portraying he found love. If any vlogger needs a break it's him. He might be going through a mid life crisis. If he cancels TT, I would bet money it was his decision.

Nice quote from Heat.

If he quits TT and vlogging, he cuts his own throat wrt income. People only buy his hats and coffee because they watch the vlogs.

He's forgotten what it's like to have a job, but if he's not careful he'll be re-acquainted with it soon.

lol. thanks Dr. Yuliial. Of course he would be sad about TT ending. It was a damn good run with regulars, friends and foes, fans and a whole gambit of characters. Let's just give the guy credit once in awhile.

Where are you guys getting that TT is done? He said it's done in today's vlog but he meant done for the night. He didn't say anything about TT being discontinued.

To me he's simply saying it's the end of TT for that night, ie the game he left might still be running with a few players at the table. If TT was actually being discontinued he would have been much clearer about it, and given it more than just three sentences in the vlog.

Just the way he was saying it and all down and out, it seems that he was hinting of it being done soon. Maybe not. We will see.

Continuing, at 6:28 he says:

"So yeah that is the end of Trooper Thursday. Thanks to everybody to coming to the game."

And at 7:30 he says:

"That's the end of another Trooper thursday. Thanks to everybody to coming out to the game. The guys that are here for every week. And also the guys who have never been here before and the guys who have been here once or twice."

It is so obvious that he is saying it is over. He is not the type of guy who is going to smack you in the face with it even though it seems you may need that.

The only thing is that it could be a negotiation tactic but I doubt that Tropper is that sophisticated.

If I'm wrong, I will post three or four embarrassed emojis.

Agreed, the way he said it leaves little doubt that TT is over. That coupled with his vacation last week makes it even more likely.

I guess we'll all know for sure in a few days...

The big Allstate guy on parole going to work as a cook, and his wife asks him if he can handle being crapped on.

"Ain't a hard time been invented that I cannot handle."

One of the coolest lines in the whole movie.

He's posted vlogs with 5-6 minute rants about minutiae, often repeating himself several times throughout, so it seems to me he is the type of guy that would discuss this at length.

Perhaps we can leave out these type of personal characterizations?

This is spot on. My wife works in the media industry so I get to know a lot of very attractive women (and men). When they do something passable, people always fawn over them and tell them what an amazing job they did. Plus they grow up not developing the social skills and personality that make someone actually interesting or fun to be around because just by being beautiful everyone wants to be around them. I can guarantee that the guys around Marle tell her what a riot she is and how funny her "jokes" are.

Yeah some of these attractive-but-not-gorgeous types gravitate toward communities that are mostly nerdy men, like poker or gaming or cosplay where they get disproportionate credit and attention for their looks.
