Guess he took them both down to re-edit the first to include the full hand.
Thanks!

Boski tremendous meme placement after the "and the table is stunned" hero call.

Thanks 27o!

That rap battle gif has been very popular on Twitter. I had to get the YouTube clip to add it to the vlog. Great reaction! I was honored to have my girl Mariah make a special appearance (and not get copyright infringed).

Boski, love the ALL-in footage you were able to capture. Made the vlog even better than they normally are. Also sick hero call. Good luck this WSOP.

Thanks for the feedback JohnnyTazer. I will try to get as many vlogs out as possible during the WSOP but it will be tough with a packed schedule of tournaments.

Very nice work with the Q4 Boski.

Thanks Husker,

And yes, I would have documented the hand if I lost. Just a rare call that I might need to make more and embrace the variance. I am learning some things that will make my NL tournament game more volatile.

The logic for the call was there given the action but that's far far easier to say away from the tables. Much harder to implement. Online I'd sometimes use a rng to force me to make a decision either way when I thought it was a polarising river bet and I had a bluff catcher. Still chickened out a lot though. The Q high takes even more balls though as you're also behind some of his random Ax bluffs if he's able to fire them.

I don't think he would snap bet ace high on the river. He likely puts me on ace high or a QJ, J9 type of hand that I would have in my flop check back range. He would be much better off check/calling if he had ace high to bluff catch.

Yep, the snap bet tell made the decision a little easier. Still a sick call though.

Great new entry by Ryan, even by his already high standards. The stuff with him watching the credits slooooooooowly add up at the slot machine had me legit LOLing.

Both ryan and Boski's vlogs are my top 2 hands down. I enjoy pretty much all the others, but they both are killing it in my opinion. Just great to watch.

Was Boski’s Queen high hero call when he was all-in on the stone cold bubble?

If so, that was one of the sickest calls of all-time.

Also, Boski showing the actual footage of so many all-in hands is just amazing..

Thanks for the feedback. I started the (money bubble) hand with 400k at 12k BB. If my river call was wrong I would still have 235k to work with. There were 2 60k stacks on my left.

It is a pain and somewhat awkward to film the all-ins, but if you guys like it I will continue to do it at the Encore.

It's often difficult to see the board cards. I'm guessing this is due to the fact you have to keep your phone down low, so the angle kinda sucks. I'd say 50% of the time I never can see the cards and either go by the reaction of the players or when the dealer mucks the losing hand (or the next shot of your chip stack). So in that sense, the reactions/comments of the other players adds to the videos.

I like it as well as your style of telling the tourney story. Definitely keeps you wanting to watch more. Might be just me though.

You are really bringing these days. Really good stuff. I might try and track you down when I'm in Vegas starting next week.

I try to add the board cards graphic on screen if it is not a good angle. If it is too far away, I try to zoom in. Thanks for the feedback. WSOP said I can't do it at all.

Thanks uncleriver. Hopefully I am lucky this summer and it will be great. I am still looking for an affordable editor for my summer vlogs. I found a good one but they quoted me at $350 per 8 minute vlog. $350 x 30 = $10,500! That would be an expensive June!

+1

As a fellow Gen X/Millennial straddle, I appreciate your style and cultural reference. Used to live in Vegas for ~4 yrs, started a family a peace'd out but will be back for the Monster Stack + cash. I'll hit you up via DM and wish you the best this Summer.

GL Mang!

Of course not, why would they possibly sanction one of the few things that brings actual buzz and interest to poker right now and grows the game . More self-defeating bureaucratic BS rules and missed opportunities from on high. It's 2019, let people film at the table and if they slow the game down or do something nefarious deal with it on a case-by-case basis.

Boski,
Maybe you already know this and of course your iPhone editing skills are on point but I saw a blurb that Adobe premiere has an editing app aimed at YouTubers.
Could be worth checking out as the stand alone program is a go to for lots of professionals.

Keep churning out the content, we love it!
