That might be why he was going on about starting over or whatever. Momentum has slowed considerably, youtube views are down, etc. He only sells hats and coffee because people see the youtubes. If that slows, so do the sales.

Foatie is probably right Trooper is a survivor and he’s found a comfy zone. He’s sustained his lifestyle for like three years doing this stuff self-employed and traveled to some cool places which is nothing to look down ones nose at. Trooper deserves more respect than he gets

For some people with that mental outlook, the key is convincing themselves that opportunities to make "easy" money from Youtube, hat sales, and other entrepreneurial endeavors are not going to last much longer.

A "make as much money every day as you possibly can because the end is nigh" kind of attitude can really motivate somebody if they believe it's true.

If they need some help believing it, I suggest they dig deep into economic cycles and current economic conditions. That should be a real kick in the butt to get moving. If we see a major economic crash (we will), a lot of opportunities that exist now will dry up.

Since its inception, I can't think of a single cash cow dealing with the internet that lasted for then a few years. I think Trooper is finally realizing that his current situation is beginning to run its course and he needs to think of his next chapter. What will that be? Maybe he will fill the void that James Charles left behind in the YouTube beauty/make-up cash cow.
