Super credible source bro, you get your investment strategy from Business Insider and your cultural events from BuzzFeed, too?

Well, this doesn’t make me feel any better about it. Are the owners as passive aggressive as you? Or are they bots like half the players on the site?

I don't think I've ever met a real life "Trekkie".
If I was a distended-gutted, disheveled nerd in my mid 60s... then that comment might sting a bit.

I have no idea but I usually do a bit more research than “someone here on 2+2 said” before personally calling a businesses practices into question. That’s just me. Your research depth is pretty par for the group, though.

ACR is a sketchy disaster. Just check out a few threads in NVG. If you are in to online poker and not aware of the problems with ACR than you are definitely
-EV if you're playing there.

And I'm not going to start posting links and ****. do some research.

twoplustwo cut off their advertising. that's meaningful.

That’s all I was saying. And yes, a few NVG threads is a much better reference than “someone here said something”

So ACR is a “sketchy disaster” and Boski promotes ACR yet he is everyones favorite vlogger.

The era of zero accountability.

other than that, boski can bloody well play where he wants. he just can't spam that garbage site within this forum. I've already told him to never link to online poker vlogs. he gets that and he has stopped doing it.

i guess you're trying to make an ACR sucks statement but nonetheless many peeps love Boski and you can't blame them for that, he is one of the great vloggers.

Cliffs:

ACR sucks!

You are better are compartmentalization than I am - I find it hard to support someone who personally enriches himself by promoting dubious poker sites.

I enjoy Boski's vlogs and I am sure he feels that ACR is a good site and funds are safe. Tom Dwan thought the same thing about Full Tilt and it took years and a PokerStars bail out to get those funds.

If the games are good then go ahead and play on the site, but I would not have an amount of money on any online site that I could not afford to write off as a cost of doing business. I believe most people are like that. Bakes was streaming the other day and playing high buy in tournaments and said that he had to deposit twice that day, so I doubt he is leaving large amounts online. Ryan Fee deposited something like 10k on there to play the bigger PLO games and run it up, not 20+ buy ins.

The way you describing people depositing now is the way it always should have been done. It was never a good idea to have your whole roll in one place. It was crazy to me that so many people had their net worth on FTP Black Friday hit. Why not cash out weekly or whatever leaving yourself enough online for say 10 buy ins of your game of choice?

I couldn't agree more, I never understood why anyone would keep anything more then like 10 buyins online. If you have a horrible downswing then redeposit.

I mean I get it that prior to Black Friday depositing wasn’t super easy for US players, but still I’d rather go through the pain in the ass process of redepositing than lose everything if the site shut down.

If you have enough on there that you’d be really harmed by something like BF then you could afford to pay the cash out fees no problem. I don’t even remember, but how much was FTP charging for cash outs just prior to BF
