I would just like to avoid 'scammer' talk because it is all relative and subjective at this point. JV is not scamming anyone in the true sense of scamming.

I personally find the hijacking of the Champion logo far worse. That is literally illegal and he will immediately get a cease and desist as soon as they catch wind of it.

Why is that a problem ?

Poker needs MORE fanboys, just like the folks who dress up in their favorite team gear are good for their respective sports teams.

I purchased these items directly from Champion. They are my supplier. They could just stop selling me their items rather than a formal cease and desist lol.

This part. Very unoriginal and lame

Say what you want about Trooper and Go Gamble but at least he wasn't lame enough to steal someone else's logo

LOL I am EXACTLY that kind of person. I love things that challenge my current way of thinking. Always hoping to grow and a great way to do that is trying new things and being open to new ideas.

Your reading skills are way off. Deeb and Polk have been put in their rightful place after some debate on Twitter. I've literally never sold out for anything for views on my channel. I've never said a bad thing about anyone in any of my videos. I don't sell things. I don't affiliate products I don't use. I've been offered $5K to mention a training site in my videos but I didn't do it because I don't use their site. I have a rule that I'll never promote a product I don't actually use. I'm a poker player first which makes my altruistic approach to YouTube doable. I don't need to sell out for views and likes. I get to just be me and not worry about YouTube revenue.

Vibes a lot of us appreciate what you do in your vlogs and providing FREE value and content.

Even if the markup is high it would be worth a sweat to support your cause.

Bink the main lol. Good luck

Furthermore, Upswing offered me 25% lifetime commissions on people I would refer to their site but I declined. I was offered big money to start a PPPoker group but declined. I've been approached by online poker sites (one of the top sites) to become a sponsored pro and I declined. I'm simply not a sell out. If I don't use the product, I don't endorse or promote it. The comments in this thread are so ludicrous I have to pop in from time to time. So many people think they know what they are talking about and its laughable.

Me staking other people has been a major reason for my success. I've made hundreds of thousands of dollars staking people in the live arena. It required me trusting them. It's become a huge business that I had to sell off to my brother. I don't have time for it anymore as I've taken on so many other projects. And now a few short years later my brother currently has a quarter million dollars in staking bankrolls spread throughout the country. It's a money making machine if you have the right people and manage/coach/cultivate each horse the right way.

Thank you. The last 2 days have been immensely beneficial to my channel. A lot of exposure and people like you reaching out to have my back. Also a ton of people dragging Doug Polk and Shaun Deeb which is fun to watch from the sidelines. They obv deserve it.

So he's on a bankroll suicide mission? At least he has a newer car to live out of?

Just would like to add that I was walking through the Rio parking lot last summer and I saw Johnnie randomly taking the time to help a random woman navigate through the traffic (she was in the long cab line and didn't realize it). He was deep in the Main and returning from his break with not much time left at all, but he was still taking the time to help this "lost" woman. Chatted with him for a bit and he was a really cool guy.

So what? Honestly, so what? Maybe people who bought hats from Trooper are standing in line for a refund, but I don't think so. It's not like he's hard to find.

People can spend their money any way they like and if they are happy with the purchase, so what?

Scott Van Pelt recently had a great monologue that ended with the phrase "stop being offended by things that don't concern you". I'm sure he wasn't directing that comment at this thread, but it sure applies.

Next time I'm in Vegas I'm buying a hat from Trooper just to piss you off.

Given all this debate recently, there are a whole lot of selfish people in this forum based on that definition.

I assume you are talking about the AJ and AT hands when I had top 2. I had a very aggressive image. I put my opponents on AK, AQ and wanted to build the pot. I can see the reason to slow play as most people under bluff in these spots.

This is interesting. Never would have dreamed they would allow you to co-opt their logo.

This where I fall personally on the Johnnie Vibes front. Not scamming. Good enough overall player to go deep/bink a big one.
