Your recollection is pretty close, but not quite right. I'm a little bored this afternoon so I thought I'd check the old thread to see when that occurred. Dream Crusher posted on September 28, 2016 that Trooper had reached 10k and that his subscriber count as of that day was 10,011. Neeme posted his first vlog nine days later on October 7th.

That's true, but I'd argue that he has made a bigger jump from where he began. Four years ago, Marle was a professional model and actress in New York City, with contacts in those industries. Four years ago, Tim was a waiter at a restaurant in a second-rate southern town, known by absolutely nobody other than a few friends and coworkers, and had no prospects on the horizon for that really to change.

He may still be a laughingstock as a poker player, but he's made a name for himself, has started a small business, and is known and followed by people in various countries around the world. I'd say that's quite a remarkable change from where he was four years ago.

I watched Marle's first poker vlog. She got a staker when she was playing 1/2 and 1/3 and then after he dropped her she got a second staker. Holy **** who are these morons that stake low limit players? IIRC Troop found some idiot to stake him as well for a while.

Did she ever give details of how she got scammed for $6k?

Did you but some coffee because you are interested in how it tastes? To support Trooper financially? To support that quality youtube content? or because you just have some cash to burn?

It's only $3.75 free shipping for a 4oz sample which is very cheap for good coffee. If I really like it I'll order more

These vloggers would be a good cast in the next Rounders

Agree with some prior posters - Marle's latest was a disappointment. Not up to par with the first few vlogs.

Seems like he may have rushed himself to get a regular vlog out as fast as he could after all the negative feedback from the shortdeck vid.
Haven't watched it yet but was listening to his podcast and he was saying:
  • went to play specifically so he could vlog it
  • felt he needed to do a vlog quickly after shortdeck "different" vlog
  • was feeling burnt out
  • wants to do something that doesn't fit the formula but not sure what

So good read. The podcast is only occasionally interesting but it's the insights into what it's like to be a vlogger like that are interesting.

I don't see how any of her vlogs have any good she has no personality and doesn't show much poker. Only reason you even talk about her is she is somewhat attractive.

I get it, she's a woman and a lot of men poker players feel intimidated around women. But I do think she has received some unfair criticism around here. I remember when Boskie used to be hated by a lot of people here when he first came out, but many finally came around and understood where he was coming from in his Vlogs. I suspect the same will eventually happen with Marle.
