Andrew's last volg was one of his best. He was in Texas and Seattle talked about poker and hinted at future plans for Vloging.

I really don't think the AK fold was bad. The guy 3bet pre, bet and jammed the river for about pot. However, when we move up in stakes too quickly sometimes we do things that we wouldn't have done in a lower game (like flatting pre oop) that guy's tossing that junk away to a 4bet
I didn’t think it was bad either. What else is villain bluffing there? I would be more upset if villain showed a different hand he was bluffing with, or a weaker value hand like KQ.

Thought Neeme was breaking up with us there at the end. Is breaking up by Youtube video better than breaking up by text message?

Was planning on playing mostly tournaments during the WSOP this year... But the Bellagio was getting up to 10 5/10 games. And I bricked the 6 tourneys I did play.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But still some more opportunities this year... Wynn has a series coming up, the circuit comes to Vegas, and there are a couple things I’ll travel to this year yet.

The poker on 5 continents will be tough. But I have a cousin moving to Hong Kong so I might go visit and hit Macau and Australia. Maybe.

I think his camera and audience are his therapists?

So now that his best friend Harry got married Trooper must be feeling the peer pressure/keeping up with the Joneses anxiety.

Over/under on when he'll get married?

There were card-dead times and coolers but I think he doesn't play his normal game on livestreams, probably because of the pressure and fear of being judged.

JohnnieVibes, on the other hand, eats up all that livestream attention and goes full Jaws mode.

??

Why is it that some people who were winners before are not winners today? Some will tell you it's because they failed to continue to work on their game and that game has changed and they failed to keep up. I would offer that, perhaps, maybe they just ran on the right side of variance for a prolonged period of time and are no longer so fortunate.
Here's an interesting infographic. Notice the small print about live play.

Parkour FTW.

(No I'm not him.)
+1

Ryan DePaulo's vlogs are hilariously funny and very entertaining. I've been following him ever since CzechRaiseCharles recommended him. He also plays at some of my spots (he prefers PLO as most degens do)

He's not just a self proclaimed degenerate - he also won a poker tournament at the Borgata!

I consider myself a winning player. I have averaged winning 8K a year for the last 8 years. Can I quit my real job? Nope! But it is sure nice to be PLUS and help pay the college bills! To me, THAT is winning!!
Mr. B this has to be the most honest post about anyone telling what they have won and it makes sense for the stakes you play at. Last 3 years I have averaged 3,000 per year just playing 95% 1/2 of course I must take into account that at the end of the year I turn my RC's and GGWU points into freeplay so that 3,000 is partly do to freeplay but i add it in because I earned it.

He's great. He also just seems like a really nice dude - I remember a video where he forgot his player's card or something and wasn't playing with one, and an old lady sitting next to him asked if he wouldn't mind using hers while he played, and he said sure and was extremely nice and gracious about it.

That said, he's a pretty bad video poker player - he makes a lot of mistakes.

He also has some of the sickest rungood I've ever seen at VP.

But yeah, his vlog is really fun and he seems like a solid, fun dude. He doesn't take himself too serious which is a super admirable trait.

Thanks Bud! I really have nothing to hide...I say it all in my vlog anyways! Ha! If you are making money with your "hobby", I think it is awesome! Have fun, do what you enjoy, and earn a little extra money! Can it get any better than that?! I think that is part of the reason I can stay positive about poker...I don't have the pressure of "having to win". Being a full-time pro would be tough!!

1st of all, I didn't know you could turn GGWU points into Free play. what is the formula for that?

2nd, I always use them for Shell gas cards at 3500 points = $10 card, I just checked and I don't see that as an option, maybe I am not looking in the right place or maybe they took that option out?

So it’s the most honest because it matched what your experience has been? Is there a better current example of confirmation bias itt?

I am guessing, but I bet he means that players will talk about "big wins", but not big losses. My wins per year are meager compared to many. I am assuming that's what he meant. There are PLENTY of others that show their wins/losses too!

LOL, you could probably find some in just the last 5-10 pages alone.

p.s. The evolution of FredEx is an overlooked feel good story ITT.

I agree. Except for incident at Caesar's. Hey but we are only human.

He also brought us the break through "I'm a Champion" vlog

My friends over at Haslet House Poker are playing in a single session, what I play in a month! Same with Neeme, Owen, and Johnnie. Putting it in perspective, I am a minnow in a very large sea! I give them all these guys credit too, as they have put in the time and effort to become better players and to move up in stakes.

Hi Andrew,

Are you going to provide links to the videos posted by the new vloggers participating in your contest?

Also I don't think your decision to work with Pokerstars on this contest should be troubling. Your viewers can express their opinions by choosing to participate or not, and no one is forced to participate. Perhaps my view on this matter is too simplistic.

I'm eager to see the new crop of vloggers.

Thanks.
