Did Trooper even mention what his credit score is? That rate might be as good as he can get.

Well if they are offering .9% somehow then they royally screwed him on trade in or have some other scam working.

So just because Trooper bought a brand new car it means he must have been screwed around with and "scammed"?

Car dealers in general are scum and if you think you got a deal, you still got screwed.

I am just saying, car dealers have 3 ways minimum to get you, Price, Interest rate, and trade in. They can give you the world on 1 but screw you on the other 2 and still make out.

Re: Las Vegas Poker Player Vlogs

The hand we have been discussing has been put online by LATB.

Having seen it now, my feeling is that his 3bet looks a bit too value-y and he might want to size it larger if he wants it to look like he is pushing a pair plus flush draw and prefers a fold.

Since the pot wasn't heads-up but was three-way on the flop, it makes it less likely that Brad is c-betting with air, so the range on his initial flop bet looks like flushes, the nut flush draw with or without a pair, sets, top two, and maybe the bare second-nut flush draw.

If Brad just calls the check-raise, the turn action is likely to have Johnnie check and Brad bets the top of his range and checks behind for the free card with his flush and boat draws. I don't think Brad gets two additional streets of value from a small flush. It's important to note that the ace, queen, jack, and ten are all accounted for, so if Johnnie has a flush, it is likely to be a small one. Arguably, Brad should play his hand to target the part of Johnnie's range composed of two pair and sets. The question is how often Johnnie 3bets preflop OOP with JJ/TT against Brad's EP raise. You also have to ask if Johnnie would fold a king-high flush, which blocks AK and KQ and makes it more likely that Brad is re-raising with the nut flush draw rather than a big flush. The hand probably plays differently on a 732 flop.

So, if Johnnie has a king-high flush, Brad should reraise and get more money in before the board pairs or another spade comes, unless Johnnie can fold the second-nut flush. If Johnnie has a smaller flush, Brad should probably flat, unless he can play his hand in such a way to represent a weaker hand. If Johnnie has a boat draw, maybe Brad should raise? It sounds like Johnnie check-calls the turn with a set if he has the right odds and otherwise folds. It also sounds like Johnnie would have considered check-folding the turn with his flush if Brad had just called the flop check-raise and bet enough to give a set a bad price after Johnnie checks.

Re: Las Vegas Poker Player Vlogs

Johnnie isn't checking the turn if brad calls the c/r. He's going for value, unless maybe if a spade came, but by coming over the top it made it an easier laydown with no chances of Brad getting any more money.
