Lol. I didn't realize he decided who got to be at his table. This is more clique like than a bunch of middle schoolers.

That's good and all. The problem is, when I first saw his vlogs I thought to myself "this guy reminds me of the type of guy I take money from everyday".

All of the other vloggers are winning players which makes their content interesting because they can break down hand histories. With trooper, youjustget rambling about random stuff.

The fact that he plays poker everyday just makes him come off like more of a gambling addict than a seasoned pro. This guy actually might be bad for poker. Anyone new to poker would be turned off by the lifestyle this guy presents as a "professional poker player".

Allegedly

But you can tell from watching any of his vlogs that he loves the attention that he gets, he loves being special, he loves the idea that he is making a living by not working a 9-5.

Yeah, Trooper's vlog isn't a poker vlog. He tried to make it as a pro when he first got to Vegas, couldn't make it, ended up getting a job and said his vlog was a Vegas lifestyle vlog(and he plays poker) instead, not a poker vlog as he doesn't do hand histories(nor is a winning player). You can't be a pro if you're not supporting yourself from playing. I don't think he's bad for poker. I don't think most new players who start playing poker because of his vlog do it to become pros, I think they take it up recreationally, which is good for poker.

Trooper spending 5 minutes t0 the start of today's video trying to justify playing just a measly 9 hours more at the Westgate for an entry into a $10,000 free roll poker tournament is as tilting as it gets. He has no job and features Poker as the main part of his Vlog and needs to convince himself that 9 more hours of Poker to play for free for a part of $10,000 in a tournament that will probably not have many people in it. I mean, really? Is this real life?

so you are saying a loosing player can not create interesting vlogs? i don´t want to see 15 minutes of hand histories if i watch a las vegas vlog. i want to see table banter, good shots from the strip, food , and hands from the table. if you then squeeze in how your session went and tell the results it is perfect for me. and lol at saying playing poker everday makes you seem like an addict. dude he is living in las vegas, what is he supposed to do?

and now you let me know how he is bad for poker. get a grip, this post is ridicolous.

Trooper is great for poker. He's a gamb0ling fish who glamorizes the lifestyle and doesn't care about strategy.

bodybuilder sounds like the TryHard at your local 1/3 game who can also be seen trying to sneak mirror selfies at the gym.

I change my mind. He is good for poker since he attracts a fan base full of losing players.

The guy reeks of low class which are the types of players that lose their $ to me at the casino.

I think some of the poker vloggers do think working out helps their poker play. The exercise, diet, and sleep advice is in some of the poker literature. So I personally don’t mind and even prefer to see workouts because it adds something to the vlogs besides hand histories, but I think most would disagree with me on this.

I think there is plenty of poker only content on training sites and YouTube so I don’t mind seeing something else in a vlog, but that’s just my opinion.

I’m not sure what those workouts really achieve though because nobody seems to stick with them for very long.

He would get a lot less heat for his results if he admits poker is just a hobby and admits he isn’t that good at it. Nothing wrong with that btw.

Instead he puts on an image of Mr. Tough Poker Player in his videos and even seems to lecture his audience sometimes. So it’s not surprising that people react to that.

I’ll take it even further. I might go see the Mr. Olympia contest so I can see muscular dudes wearing very little clothing. I’ll be looking at them and comparing them. If you think that’s no different than watching gay porn then that’s your opinion.

It doesn’t surprise me that you hate gay people. Funny how you complain about “haters” but think homophobic posts ITT are okay.

honestly he strikes me as having an insufferable degree of niceguy syndrome, and i dont mean in the incel fashion, he seems genuinely nice, but too nice, the kind that turns a womans vagina into a desert.

Two separate posts about an hour apart. What happened, Steve, did it take you that long to get offended?

Your statement about me hating gay people and the post being homophobic is laughable. Perhaps you need to retreat to your safe space for awhile.

And speaking of laughable, my comment was meant as a joke, hence the Seinfeld reference. I'm sorry that it offended your delicate sensibilities.

I think he mentioned later that they dated for a bit afterwards but it didn't lead to anything long term.
