I’m glad I am not the only one who noticed. It isn’t a bad smell near the poker room but a definite aroma.

Not sure what kind of feedback you are looking for. Do I think someone would give you a TV show based on that reel? I have no idea, but my gut feeling is no.

If you are looking for advice, I would focus on trying to produce videos that get tons of views. Figure out what people want to see from a Las Vegas vlog. Clearly focusing on tournaments hasn't been it. Maybe interview strippers and ask them to tell you the most interesting/funniest thing that is ever happened to them?

Las Vegas has tons of strippers, so you never run out of potential subjects, and I think the girls wouldn't mind the free publicity.

Not sure if anyone else is doing this, but I would watch it.

Think about how far ahead he could be right now if only people had told him that hes not good and needs to study more and offered him thousands of dollars worth of free coaching three years ago. But better late than never.

Speaking of Flamingo smells, I'm not sure if they still do it since I haven't been there for two years, but the Margaritaville casino, adjacent to the Flamingo, used to have a terrible smell of suntan lotion, that used to permeate the casino.

Does the Flamingo/Margaritaville still do that?

That **** used to seriously give me a headache..

Hoping Trooper's latest vlog marks a turning point. He has been treading water for a few years now. Acknowledging he is currently a breakeven player and realizing he needs to put in more hours is a good start. If he can also humble himself and seek coaching from people better than him things might get interesting.

Maybe since his South Carolina buddies had pieces of Miles in the ME, they are throwing Timmy a bone.

The Flamingo offers an odorous mix of ammonia, bleach, vomit, smoke and death. The neon sign out front is the only part of that ****hole that should be kept.

Yes, because just like everything else in his life, Trooper will be gung ho for a few days and then quit and go after the next shiny-looking thing..

Great vlog by Andrew.

I unsubbed from Trooper but guess I will go to watch his latest if he actually provides some self-analysis.

Boski, please don't retire! Love your vlogs.

He didn't say he was being staked, so no it doesn't count.

I would say this is the worst advice, because it isn't sustainable. You will burn out. People always are concerned with the results but not the process. My biggest piece of advice is to design your life in a way where you enjoy the process. If you are loving the journey the results are just a nice byproduct. So number 1 priority should be to make things you enjoy making.

This is true for a lot more than just poker vlogging imo

Could be close but I would be willing to bet $1,000 on each of the following

1. Higher net worth
2. Higher credit score
3. Higher IQ

I’ve been confused before - I won’t hesitate to say I may be confused once again! My capacity to keep up with the vloggers has decreased significantly

I think your Demo Reel needs more then just snippets from your vlog, and some takes from those two interviews with Sasha.

Any thought on trying to be a PokerNews presenter? Yes, you give up some poker EV by not being able to play the tournament, but you gain potential future EV in parlaying it into other TV related work.

Gloria Balding worked for PokerNews then became a TV anchor. Lynn Gilmartin worked for PokerNews then became the WPT anchor and travels the world. Jeff Platt used to do sports broadcasting in Dallas, and would probably admit to using PokerNews, and some other poker-related TV work as his next step to something bigger. Jeff could use PokerNews to become a Food Network host. Who knows ...

If you can really nail down your editing process, you would definitely have an edge over other presenters as you can edit and be the on-screen talent.

Next Vegas event I can think of where you could try some stuff would be Poker Masters in September.

Lol. Bang bang.

When's the HU4ROLLZ match with Trooper happening?

Where did Trooper admit that he wasn’t good at poker? Where does he say that he is going to study? I didn’t see that in the video. The farthest he went was in saying he had been breaking even for a while and was tired of it. If he elaborated on that he might just say that he is the unluckiest player ever and that he needs to play more hours to even out the variance.
