When you're getting it in on the good side of flips, I don't really know what more you want from somebody. Those SNGs are a completely different animal than cash games. The variance is high and the sample size is small. People in threads like these and on YouTube like to focus on results, and I'm sure Jamie Gold and Jerry Yang are glad to have them in their fan clubs, but it doesn't sound like Trooper's results are indicative of bad play.
Whether he's trying to improve doesn't have anything to do with the decisions he's made in the tournament that are over with.
