Just saw Boski's latest. One of his better Vlogs of late. However, he should have
Spoiler:
put the clip of the cymbal guy from last year in this vlog....i know it wasnt funny at the time getting cymbals smashed in your ears, but looking back on it that was some funny **** just from an absurdity standpoint. What weirdo does this?

It’s not surprising to me that when I watch the vloggers that aren’t huge names in the poker world, the ones that are the most successful tend to be the most humble.
I can guarantee that lurking in the strategy section of 2+2 definitely helps your winrate and poker game overall. I don't post much in that section but I've gotten a ton of great advice and points of views on hands from those threads.

Having a bit of humbleness and humility can go a long way in life. Even if it's not genuine, if you can fake it and people buy your act, it will get you very far. Being genuinely humble to a degree is just plain easier than faking it...to me.

Trooper's character is the complete opposite of this and if he was a big name crushing the games, he would be able to pull it off. But since he's the opposite of that, he just comes off REALLY, REALLY bad all of the time.

If he dealt poker for 5 years and still spent what he spends now, he could have saved up for a down payment in 5 years and his mortgage would be equivalent to his rent right now.

Although I do see him spending whatever he makes and not really planning his finances long term so a higher income would probably get spent right away. Very possibly donating at 2/5nl or even 1/3nl at bigger games like the Wynn.

But for those of us that didnt do that, our options are very limited.

Like I've said before, I really think Troopers lifestyle is really suited more to living in a RV full time. Hopefully he's still looking into that.
Moving into an RV would probably be way better for Tim's lifestyle, financial situation, and even the vlog. What's the difference between sleeping in a bed in an RV versus on a mattress on the floor in an apartment?

Since it's a pretty good idea, if researched and done correctly, I'm positive he will never consider this and will laugh it off as trolling.

If he finishes negative or breakeven, he will blame it on a small sample size, not enough sleep, bad luck, and will make sure to only play in single table satellites with Harry and never alone again.

Honestly, if he goes on a heater at any point, I could see him ending the challenge on a high note before the WSOP ends. Or to not make it so obvious, he will start to play just 1 or 2 tourneys a day at the lowest level and will blame it on not having enough time or being too tired after grabbing breakfast at noon from Taco Bell/Jack in the Box.

Again, he was waiting tables before he got to Vegas and he was waiting tables after he went busto in Vegas. He had a dealing job for a relatively short period of time but was then laid off. It's not like he quit his dealing job.

Well there is one problem. Vegas isnt the cheapest place to park your RV in a park, as you might imagine. So there is that additional cost. But I'm guessing he could do it for cheaper than where he is currently living.

Johnny's poker content is outstanding and he is clearly mega-respected as a player by all of the other pros. I always look forward to his productions.

Love vibes' vlogs, think the way that he delivers his thinking process in certain situations is way beyond that of any other vlogger out there. His content is definitely up there with Neeme.

That being said, wasn't sold on the Golden Knights edit at the end of his most recent vlog. He mentioned it being taken from Kristy Arnett, it seemed super cliche/cheesy.

I just don't get it. If you don't like someone's content why does one feel the need to be a troll towards them? Just abstain from their content. Creating negative energy for the purposes of hurting others or views? I just can't get behind that.
Excellent post. I've heard in the past that you don't see really successful people trolling others, they try to learn (good and bad) from as many people as they can, they try to help as many as they can.

You don't see Bill Gates trolling people, right?

Like you, I don't hate Boski's content and do actually watch his vlogs, but I don't understand the trolling. I think he'd be more successful without it.

Other than looking like Jerry Garcia, I don’t know what I can bring to the table.

If Trooper is as content as people say then what’s the big deal? Him getting trolled just brings more attention to his vlog.

I still remember when BigDawsTv did his video of him pretending to be Klay Thompson and he said he was getting roasted for it on social media. But he also looked like he was enjoying the free advertising and publicity for his channel. Steve Kerr said it looked like the fake Klay had a few extra burgers in him. Should people shake their heads at Kerr for making a haters comment and possibly hurting someone’s feelings?

JohnnieVibes has the best cash game hands IMO but the rest of the stuff in his videos is kind of boring to me. Not sure if I prefer watching him or Andrew. I did enjoy one of vibes recent videos when I just skipped ahead to the poker hands and watched those.

Does he really want to be single all the time though? Seems like people assume that, but I doubt it’s by choice. I think he just lives life his own way and hopes to find someone that will accept him the way he is. Wouldn’t his apartment help him out with the women he meets?

In an old interview he suggested that finding a woman to be with is important to him; he even called it one of his life’s goals.

Whether you love or hate Boski, you have to give him props for his vlog frequency and quality during the WSOP..

I agree with you Johnnyvibes.

I also thought the announcer in the infamous LATB angle shoot video of Armenian Mike pulling back his all-in because he was "just kidding" sounded lik you in the booth, but I wasn't sure until you confirmed it yesterday.

That video with your commentary is going viral to all the poker news sites (and I also agreed with what you said as it was happening. I would have said the same things - pot goes to Ryan, the dealer and the floor supervisor handled it too passive imo). I'm glad Armenian Mike got booted from the show permanently. You can't go all in then when someone calls with the nuts say you were just kidding.

Yup,machine!

Also regarding the angle from Armenian Mike, lol. There is nothing to discuss, his chips (rack) was clearly in the middle and the bet stands as an allin bet.

Floor clearly handled it too passive, but was likely uncertain on how to handle it regarding to Feldmen being involved in the hand- and probably got uncertain of his role compared to Feldman, like not sure of either him or F should cut through and make the final decision.

Also, as F explained on the recent interview with Joey Ingram on youtube- players from Armenian Mikes background have this weird way of talking. They use the word "kidding" or "joking" if the bet with nothing or without having a strong hand- when really the word is they are bluffing. Ive played with several players from the same kind of culture, so have little bit of experience with this.

That being said, of course Mike was angling here as if his only motivation was to try to get his money back after F snapped off his big bluff wich surprised him big time.

I love Boski's vlog and most of his trolling is fine, if immature.
But his recent trolling of Negreanu's vlog is bordering on sexual harassment and just really not cool.

+1.

I have no problem, whatsoever, with Boski trolling Trooper and his Marissa Youtube comments (lets face it, she is hotter than two rats ****ing in a sock) but he really needs to leave Daniel's sexuality out of it..
