I've only watched for a couple months and haven't dug into his older stuff, but I can definitively say it's not just trooper. He has trolled Brad, Neeme and Negreanu as well recently. Trooper is just an easier target and gets more people talking because he is more of a villain, in general.

I personally think Boski just likes ****ing with people and poking fun. Maybe I'm just projecting because I'm like that in day to day life with people I know as well. It's an acquired taste I realize, but so are most of the poker vlogs.

It is no different that the whole Chick-Fil-A nonsense...if I like the product, I will spend money there if it suits my needs on a dollar for service basis. I don't have to agree with a corporate entity's politics to do business with them. If snowflakes feel otherwise, then they are entitled to go sit in their safe space in mommy's basement...

I literally laughed out loud in my hotel room when he made that comment.

There is no right answer and you are entitled to your opinion, but I think all of us who have the means should be somewhat socially aware and vote with our dollars. Dollars are all some understand.

Everyone can decide for themselves. I eat at Chick Fil A all the time but never, ever go to the Venetian. Whatever.

I support a Venetian boycott as well, but you have to compromise your ethics almost daily just to live in this world.

Back to our regular programming.....Trooper sucks.
we do indeed all have blood on our hands...

people who say they wont step foot in a casino to take some moral high ground probably have clothes in their closet or use products every day made by a child who works for ten cents an hour with basically a gun to his head....

its laughable....our entire lifestyles depend on the exploitation of so many of our fellow humans in other parts of the world and this is the battle people pick....

He's entitled to protect his assets and that is only one man's opinion on one matter. If the owner of in n out was a winnipeg jets fan, would you boycot his stores because you're a LV knights fan and have a different opinion? Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, especially if he has hard assets he's trying to protect. His properties (both the V and the Sands in PA) have some good cash games and good tournament series and by playing there it doesn't mean you're against online poker. (btw why would anyone wanna play in games filled with bots and people who share their hands any way)

This is so true, we all have our heads in the sand, and its interesting what things affect us more than most.

Its that virtue signalling that a lot of people love to do. But pick their lives apart and they are no better than most others

My only issue with the...hypocrisy behind this is that in the same video where he's trashing the V - he's at the Wynn, supporting the Wynn, giving business to Wynn. So you're supporting one piece of human garbage while boycotting another piece of human garbage. I guess thats...good?

Hypocrisy is a harsh word maybe, I dont mean it to be as I am still a huge Neeme fan. If people want to play one place and not another - more power to you.

But lets not pretend that any of these casino owners are saints or spending their billions doing some sort of good in the world. Couldn't tell you a thing about the Caesars or MGM owners/board/executives. I have a feeling if I did, I would boycott all of them for one reason or another and end up never going to Vegas. And that sounds like a lousy result to me.

Does that mean I have my head in the sand? I dont know. But I think I'm OK if you think so tbh.

I'm sure Trooper leaves himself open to be made fun of, but the last person to be doing it, is Jeff Boski. Have you people even watched his videos? I really feel bad for the poor **** that has 50% of his tournament action. This guy might wanna worry more about his tournament play and less about his vlog funnies.

Thanks for watching the videos, I really appreciate it. Some thoughts:

I don’t think I was bashing the V. I even said it’s a great room, great dealers and staff, always has a decent number of games and one of the premiere recurring tournament events in the city. Also said I don’t blame anyone for playing there. We all have to grind. I just feel weird about having a poker vlog and giving free publicity to 85k people for a business owner that harms the industry that my vlog is based on.

Regarding Wynn, I thought about that before making the video. It was a huge disappointment to say the least. As far as I know he was removed relatively quickly from all operations of the company and sold all of his shares. He was living in a villa on property and has since moved out to Summerlin. If Adelson was similarly no longer a part of the company I’d likely be happy to show off the Venetian in a vlog.

Do I pretend that I’m spotless without fault? Hell no. I try to do what’s best but there’s a decent chance you’ll find some “fast fashion” H&M type clothes in my closet from previous years of shopping when I was unaware of how it was manufactured. I totally understand that when you’re trying to focus on your work while also enjoying life that it’s fairly impossible to stay on top of which company is pulling what bull**** this week.

The vast majority of my viewers are recreational poker players. I’ve gotten a lot of questions about why I never play at the Venetian, and when I reply, many of them had no idea about Sheldon’s lobbying efforts in the online gaming space.

In my experience, when someone uses the phrase “virtue signaling,” I think it speaks more to deflecting from having to think about the **** they do in their own lives and they’d prefer that person just piped down. Like when someone says something misoginystic and someone else says that’s not cool... the first dude will call the guy a “white knight” which translates to “yes I’m a pussy who can’t figure out how to interact with the opposite sex and I’m lonely af but let’s forget about that because **** you for calling me out.

Can you believe Trooper isn’t wearing a helmet??

This is how I feel about people who declare the obvious

“Virtue signalling is the conspicuous expression of moral values done primarily with the intent of enhancing standing within a social group”
