Something fishy is going on right now you guys. TBC just tweeted out(w a terrible pic) that he's playing at same table as Trooper at the Nugget. Says he engaged Troop but Troop denied it was him. Moments later Troop tweeted out that he's playing at MGM. Good old fashioned mystery...
tony big charles baby, I usually end up giving him rides around town for the endless entertainment
*to be fair this would not be the first time tony was certain he was playing vs someone that he was not.
but btw why the hell did troop go all the way down to the strip (again) a vid or 2 ago and then not play? he seems so nitty like with the coffee creamer or w/e that spending the gas to get down there just to come back is odd
that is **** weird idk, i mean if you dont wanna tell people where you are so they dont bum hunt you just dont say anything at all. going to go text tony some tips haha
Honestly, it's just some constructive criticism for Andrew, because I like his vlog and think he comes off well. The truth is, without the hole card cam, I would have stopped watching and would have never subscribed to his channel. It was the one unique aspect that was worth my time, along with top-notch editing and great background music! Without it, at the end of the day, it's just hand histories and it's not going to attract new players to the game, or new subscribers to his channel.
He's built a brand for himself. He's likeable and knowledgeable, and I think his vlog could really be big for live poker and bringing in a younger generation of players to the game. It sounds dumb, but the difference in seeing the hole cards, the chips, the betting, and scooping the pot make a huge difference in enjoyability and the engagement factor compared to a guy recounting hand histories from memory. It also maintains Andrew's credibility. When we see Andrew stacking up 3 racks, this has more credibility than "cashed up 1000 today" while driving in his car.
I hate to be the pessimistic one on the forum, but I wanted to make Andrew aware of this so he can be on top of the whole credibility issue before people start trolling the youtube comment box, because people will do this once his channel gets large enough.
I just think it's such a serious charge to suggest he might be dishonest about hands or results. Guess you have a point though because someone in the Youtube comments in a recent Trooper video accused Andrew of lying about results.

Think I played with this guy recently at Venetian when the rodeo was going on. Trooper and Andrew were being discussed at the table by the dealer and a few of the players lol. Too bad my Spanish sucks because from the parts I understood it seemed interesting.
In case I wasn't clear I don't believe for a second Andrew made anything up. It makes no sense for Andrew to lie about results. I'm sure he does well in the games so he doesn't need to make anything up.
I've been wondering if he might get haters simply because some people would become jealous of his success.
Thanks guys! I am glad I was able to document this historic run. There is definitely a correlation between vlogging and improved MTT results. I didn't know he was famous until we were six handed.
TheTrooper is such a chump. He's not fooling anyone.
He was very quiet and guarded at the table from my experience. Borderline unfriendly after he started losing. Didn't say but a word or two. Odd considering how much the fella talks to the camera.
Interesting seeing both takes from TBC & Trooper. Trooper got him to spew $250 on the river. Pretty nice, TBC's blog didn't mention that. The tone of TBC'S blog makes complete sense now that we have both sides to the story.
idk, seemed like a lot of hyping how he crushed tbc when he just kept getting smacked with aces and tbc had hands with showdown value. +his act didnt induce tony into thinking he had nothing...quite the contrary if tony thought his pair was good would have likely flat behind but he suspected trooper had a better 1 pair type hand (which he did) and put in a large raise on the river turning his hand into a bluff (over a lead as well)...unfortunately we know what tbc seemed to not know here that trooper does not fold top pair top kicker type hands in these situations so a hand like AA is never going anywhere.
*id really like the full hands details since a lot of rivers could have justified tony's bluff here
so gets AA 3 times in 15 min ouch
not trying to bash trooper here, just that I know TBC and while he has rampant leaks he is 10 times better player than Tim and Tim seemed to be implying that he sort of outplayed him with his superior lines and hollywooding when he more or less just got smacked with the deck and caught a fairly rare TBC river bluff
When Trooper was going on about his table talk during his first hand with TBC, and said it kind of sounded like he wanted TBC to fold, I actually thought the talk from Trooper showed a lot of strength.
I am surprised that TBC was capable of that kind of a river bluff. Haven't been reading his blog much at all lately though. The only time I played with him was a while ago and he was pretty tight and he did bluff but he was mostly pretty cautious. He would do stuff like bet really big so people wouldn't draw out on his kings.
Troop is a true oddball. He wants to do a vlog and obtain mass subs but he denies who he is in reality and doesn't want to engage with people. Truly bizarre individual. Almost a dual personality situation. Makes me think his vlog "persona" is nothing like who Tim really is. Which makes the situation even stranger since he prides himself on being so real while documenting his "journey". (Even though he doesn't talk about poker, winnings, goals, etc...)
Guys like Whey, Andrew, et al, I feel are honest with who they are on their vlogs. That is refreshing. Unlike Trooper who seems to be pretending the entire time.
TBC's vlog is pretty interesting. Good writing. I don't really care about all the Trooper drama but I did notice that he says games at Wynn are horrible. Pokerkraut has also indicated this. It's ironic that this is one of Andrew's favorite rooms. Also, I think Andrew's vlog about win rates was completely off base and in outer space.
I know Pokerkraut is 8 years in the game and has only had one losing month in his career. TBC seems like a seasoned pro to
