I really shouldn't read this thread high. I still don't get if everyone is being sincere in making their points or if this is a giant put on (or troll as the kids call it)

I will give him this, the skateboard is WAY more interesting than hearing about carbs. And just think how many views he will get when he gets clipped by the Deuce....

And someone could say to his fans “If you don’t like the thread then don’t read it.” Yet some fans will post here anyway. The only response to that I’ve seen (from his fans) is the suggestion that Trooper needs some white knights in here to defend him.

I haven’t seen that harsh of a reaction from anyone. The harshest reaction is probably from people laughing at him for that.


I think what Boski does is irrelevant. Trooper should be judged on the things he does, and not on anything that Boski does.

I understand the point you’re trying to make, but a problem with analogies is the situation can still be too different. You’re talking about a situation with people feeling indifferent about Star Wars. With Trooper some people really like him and some really dislike him. Some also watch him for the trainwreck factor, and he does try to provoke his haters. He was complaining about haters when he had less than 400 (maybe even less than 300) subscribers and he probably didn’t even have haters yet.

These vlogs are like a television show to me (except they take less time to watch). And television shows will have obsessed fans that love the show and love some of the characters (or even hate some of them).

Trooper set up his Trooper Thursdays knowing some obsessed fans would show up, buy his stuff, tell him how great he is, complain about haters because they take attacks on him personally, give him money, and be eager to play with him.

It’s entertainment. Just like watching the Golden Knights is entertaining to me although watching their games takes a lot more time.

I watch most trooper vlogs at 1.5x speed so it makes the skating between lanes seem insanely dangerous instead of just pretty dangerous

If he gets clipped by the Deuce he won't be making any more vlogs unless they have youtube in heaven.

Made me laugh way more than it should have.

He will just beg for money for any hospital bills. Some crowdfunding page will be set up for this totally unavoidable situation. (and of course it will be the cars fault, or some kind of stone that nobody in the world would have been able to avoid.)

I rather watch his vlogs than the junk on TV go watch American Idol and Dancing with the stars have fun.

Instead of changing the thoughts and actions of thousands of haters why don't you DM Troop and tell him to behave like a full grown man with something to live for.

PS - If you are not a Trooper fan then none exist.

That is what I was thinking. If anything people were trying to keep that from happening by pointing out how stupid it is to do what he was doing.
