Do you think Trooper puts a sound bite of that podcast shout out in his next vlog while being oblivious to the fact that they are laughing at him? Kind of like he puts in the clip of the guy being interviewed about a car accident because he's wearing his hat.

They called him a bozo, basically homeless, and just laughed at the HPT for being involved with the Westgate since it is a non factor in Vegas poker. Don't they know about Trooper Thursdays? Westgate had to outbid Bellagio, Aria, and the Wynn to get such a huge poker name to host their game.

Even Mike Matusow is such a huge fan that he played a tournament at Westgate just to get the chance to sit in Trooper's game for 30 minutes.

Playing 2-5 would save him. IIRC he made $7-8k profit in 2016, then only $800 profit in 2017. Weren't the rakes in Vegas raised in 2017? There goes all his profit. That extra $1 or $2 down the rake box every pot adds up quickly.

Exactly, I think that is how most of us feel. So much wasted potential. The whole Youtube explosion just passed him by. Just a little more effort on the title and thumbnail of each vid along with a little more creative content such as more trips and challenges and he would have Doug Polk level of subs. But he just coasted at minimal effort and watch upstarts that came after him such as Neeme and Brad rocket past him in popularity and subs. It's a sad story really.

Doug Polk does invest his revenue back into YT/FB/IG ads to acquire more followers and subscribers to his paid content/newsletters on crypto & poker. He's the only one monetizing his channel the way it should be done for the long term play. Apparel is ok but after the initial spike in revenue the first 3-4 weeks it's hard to keep that pace and scale if you're not investing any money into ads for growth.

Anyone know whatever happened to that loud eccentric guy with ESPN footage of him playing 10+ years ago in his intro, that had the Poker Vlogs dressed in costumes and playing characters talking about his exploiting play, then mysteriously said he will have to delete his channel immediately but will be back again?
