These are all winning vloggers. So that's 16 right there. 1 in a hundred? Are there 1,600 poker vloggers out there?

The only thing he can rely on, for now, is free rolls to up his hourly.

Yet he claims to be annoyed at players who are short stacked. His way of thinking is really strange. He probably played at the Wynn once or twice and didn’t “have fun”. So in his mind EVERY game at the Wynn is zero fun, everyone is miserable and he’ll never go back despite the deeper stacks there.

You're taking it out of context. Majority of your list doesn't come close to the success of Mariano's level. That's the 1/100 referenced.
Otherwise by your premise, anyone with a winning hourly should make the list, like Rice with $14/hour.

Rice just wants to nit it up and grind promos and comps to make what he considers to be risk free money. As long as he can say that he's a professional poker player then he's as happy as can be, earning under minimum wage.

He literally can't set the bar any lower in terms of making a living from poker. But I guess when making up some disgusting jambalaya in a rice cooker and watching YouTube videos all day long is his idea of paradise then he doesn't really need to do much else.
His rambling rant about never playing in the WSOP is ironic. He qualifies for the Employee Event now, which is by far the softest bracelet event in the Series. It's probably no tougher than the Bally's "freeroll", other than the satellite structure. I wouldn't be surprised if he was a favorite to cash.

BTW, what's the over/under on how many times he says "like" in a typical video? 50? Higher?

At last combined with the lifestyle he lives compared to the average person, its mind boogling really. I know several dogs in my nearby streets that eats better than Rice, people in prison too for that matter.

Also absolutely hilarious how he prides himself being a pro pokerplayer, when he have to starve himself for days to survive, sleeping in his car or roaming around in San Fran in the rain for 14 hours to avoid paying for hotel room at weekend rates.
While he was there, he should've taken advantage of all the benefits available to the "unhoused". He could probably live a lot better there than in Vegas. Between cash and gift card like things, I believe you can make almost 2 grand a month. Plus live in a shelter for free. On top of that there are multiple poker rooms that aren't very far away. The weather is much nicer there in the summer compared to Vegas. He should just go homeless there for 4 months out of the year, and then go back to Vegas in the fall.

That is a minimum of 1 day of not working double shifts and making $300 or $400 and paying $500 that he might lose. He will never do it.

Even a mincash is probably $700-ish. Imagine what he could sell the bracelet for. Couple thou, at least?

What if Rice pulled a Pman and binked the employee event.

Not sure if Rice is even aware of the fact. I'd give him a pass and make an exception.

Anybody think he could sell his action like the trooper to score a free entry? He could do like 1.5 markup as a meme.

Make it happen bigpoppa!

Can you win a large tournament during WSOP by folding to every raise, never bluffing and having to commute from Arizona bc rooms are too expensive in Vegas?

I wouldn't consider anyone with a full-time job a true poker vlogger.

I don't know most of them, but how is Rude on the list? He posted twice in the last year.

His last vlog is titled "Getting Absolutely DESTROYED At My Meet Up Game In Kentucky!"

I don't see your f-buddy on the list.

Most of the followers in this thread are here because of antics by people we would never meet in real life, and they cannot believe anyone actually supports their self-damaging behavior.

I am guessing neither you nor he has ever met a successful vlogger.

I hope to be at the WSOP this year, and if he stays in town, I will blow a kiss Rice on your behalf.

Frequently, the measure of success is what you don't have to do as opposed to what you have to do.

I don't have to sneak a salami sandwich down my pants, but I do have to tell my girlfriend to tone down the lingerie.

anyway I was just annoyed with how he talked about that hand the whole video long. he took a bad beat. we know. and it wasn't even a shock.

Yeah I guess but I think overall it's def. A great vlog. To take something like that and dismiss it as something you wouldn't watch I think is more of a personality clash imo.

Rice so wants people to thinks he's a poker crusher.

Rice has said in the past he plays more when he's winning, so $15/hr is barely worth 'bragging' about.

Also: How many people besides Rice can 'survive' on $15/hr without someone helping them?
I say 'survive' because what Rice is doing is not 'living'.
