The answer is the same for all of these miserable Vegas 1/2 grinders (Diesel, Trooper, BikeKing, Pman, etc...)-- get a job dealing!
They know poker rules/etiquette down pat, would get still sit in the air conditioned poker room all day and be around card games, get paid ~$30/hr for however many hours they can get, and still play poker on the side!
Diesel said he doesn't want to deal because he'd be going back to working for "the man" and not be his own boss and make his own hours (comments in
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7azw6sl6N84). Makes zero sense. Trooper would make bank if he dealt Trooper Thursday, Diesel/Pman/BikeKing would all be able to make a stable $30/hr for 30-40hrs/wk and still pursue the poker dream on the side.
