Conservatively, trooper has played around 250 days of poker so far this year. If he averages 4 hrs per session, that is 1000 hours played so far.

$5.76/hr + comps

No way he averages 4 hours a session and so Id say he is just within minimum wage and thus owning the haters.

40 hrs per week, (with 12 weeks vacation off) x Nevada minimum wage = about $14,000

What do you guys think troopers monthly expenses are?

I feel like I've bagged on Trooper a bit lately, but as someone who's always had good interactions with him personally, it's from a place of wanting him to do a bit better and achieve his max potential. He's way more intelligent than you guys give him credit for and that's from a personal aspect. With that said, the Trooper pocket watching kinda bothers me. Some of you want to know way more about his personal expenses and income when you would never return the favor one for one and reveal your personal information.

That's the thing I respect most about him. His transparency in poker results and ability to upgrade his life from the desert manor days.

FWIW, my cousin lived in desert manor recently for $810/mo and it was fully renovated and modern inside with mounted flat screens and the nice fake wood laminate floors. Total bargain for the location considering Juhl where I used to live, is right behind it and 2x more for a studio 3-4x more for a 1br.

Hard for us to know for sure, but he does play long sessions on Trooper Thursday and his free roll friday tournaments. Either way, he isn't making very much, especially when you factor in gas
